Last Chance

A few weeks later, Taehyung was discharged from the hospital. Right when he got to school, Seo Joon grabbed his wrist and tried to drag him to the roof.

Taehyung: What are you doing?!
(He yelled annoyed.)

Seo Joon: Follow me. I need to talk to you.

Taehyung: Are you done yet? If hurting Jung Mi isn't enough, why didn't you just hurt me instead?

Seo Joon let go of Taehyung.

Seo Joon: Araso.
(He said nodding.)
You showed Jung Mi the photo right?!
(He said raising his voice.)

Taehyung: I don't know what you're talking about.

Seo Joon: Don't try to play dumb with me Taehyung!
(He said punching Taehyung in the face.)

Then he just stood there, dumbfounded.

Seo Joon: Sorry. I didn't mean to do that.

Taehyung: Really? I understand reflexes like that.
(He said as he punched Seo Joon as well.)

But Seo Joon ended up on the ground.

Taehyung: Don't let me see your dirty face anymore.
(He said walking away annoyed.)

After lunch Jung Mi and Seo Joon went to the rooftop to talk.

Seo Joon: Jung Mi hear me out first. Huh.
(He pleaded.)

Jung Mi: What nonsense are you going to say now?
(She asked annoyed.)

Seo Joon: Give me another chance. I really loved you. It's just that happened on accident.

Jung Mi: Accident?
(She asked laughing.)
How would you feel if I made out with another guy on 'accident'?
(She said as her eyes widened.)

Seo Joon: Someone set me up. Trust me. Please.

Jung Mi: All my trust for you just got thrown away. How can I trust a liar like you.

Seo Joon: Please. Jung Mi.
(He said suddenly going on his knees.)

Jung Mi was shocked as her eyes widened.

Jung Mi: What.. What are you doing?!

Seo Joon: I'm begging you Jung Mi. Just give me one more chance. I'll prove it to you, that my love for you is real.

Jung Mi laughed.

Seo Joon: I'm serious. Really.

Jung Mi: This is going to be your last chance.

Seo Joon stood back up.

Seo Joon: Thank you so much!
(He said hugging her with a smirk.)

Later that night, as school was over, Taehyung saw Jung Mi with that jerk Seo Joon again. He was confused of why they were together. Did Seo Joon just follow Jung Mi? He wasn't sure, so he went up to them.

Taehyung: What are you doing?
(He asked Seo Joon.)

Seo Joon: Taking my beautiful girlfriend home.

Taehyung's eyes widened. He looked over at Jung Mi to see if it was true. Jung Mi was smiling shyly. Taehyung was in disbelief as he sighed.

Taehyung: Are you crazy?!
(He asked Jung Mi.)

Jung Mi: What?

Taehyung grabbed her hand. Seo Joon quickly grabbed the other. Jung Mi looked at both of the surprised. She noticed that everyone around them were looking, she felt embarrassed, so she made both of them let go.

Jung Mi: What are you two doing?
(She asked shocked.)

Taehyung: I need to talk to you.

Jung Mi ended up going with Taehyung. They were walking on the sidewalk of a street, where there was no one. Taehyung stopped walking and turned around to face Jung Mi who was following behind him. As Jung Mi saw Taehyung stop, she stopped too, shocked.

Jung Mi: What?

Taehyung: Didn't I warn you?!

Jung Mi sighed.

Jung Mi: Here we go again.

Taehyung: Break up with him!
(He said seriously.)

Jung Mi: What?!
(She said shocked.)
He said he was set up, and he told me that hell prove it to me that-

Taehyung took a step closer to her, pulled her waist towards his, and kissed her.

Jung Mi's eyes widened as she quickly pulled away. Taehyung was met with a slap on his face.

Jung Mi: Are you insane?!
(She said as her eyes got watery.)

Taehyung: Yes, I am!
(He yelled back.)
I can't stand you always getting hurt by that loser. I've always been watching you from afar, not being able to do anything. You want to know how much it hurts. After giving me feelings, you go and flirt with another guy. I can't take it anymore! Will you open your eyes and look at the ones who truly care a out you?!
(He said seriously, looking at her.)

Jung Mi: You've always told me what to do. And I never complained! Why can't you just let me be!?
(She said as a tear rolled down her cheek.)

Taehyung: It's because I LIKE You! Happy?

Jung Mi looked at him surprised and shocked.

Taehyung: I know it may sound weird, but I really do like you. I was just so afraid. Because you never know what will happen after if things don't work out. That's what I'm scared of.. I'm scared of never being able to see you again.
(He said as his eyes got watery too.)
That's why I'm telling you to break up with him. I've know him longer than you. And I'm trying to prevent you from getting hurt. But, you still don't trust me. How long will it take you to see me trying?
