Let Go

That night, Jung Mi thought to herself, even if she breaks up with Seo Joon, she can't be with Taehyung anyways. Her friend Sohye likes him, she can't hurt her either.

The next day at school.

Jung Mi saw Seo Joon, they went up to the roof to talk.

Jung Mi: I'm sorry. We can't be together anymore.

Seo Joon: Why?
(He asked shocked and confused.)
Taehyung told you to break up with me right?

Jung Mi's eyes widened.

Jung Mi: Anniyo.
(She said lied, flustered.)

Seo Joon: Sohye told me everything.

Jung Mi: Huh? Sohye, Song Sohye?

Seo Joon: Yes, your friend.

Jung Mi: What did she tell you?

Seo Joon: How you used her for everything.

Jung Mi: That's nonsense! I never used her!

Seo Joon: And even after she told you that she liked Taehyung, you go and flirt with him. Making sure he only sees you.

Jung Mi: What?!
(She asked shocked.)
Sohye, told you all that?

Seo Joon nodded.

Seo Joon: I guess you guys hurt her a lot, she was so hurt.
(Then he got out his phone.)
If you break up with me, I'll show everyone this. That this was the reason. You cheated.

Jung Mi looked at the phone confused. It was a photo from the other day after Taehyung's grandma passed, and he wasn't feeling well. Taehyung was hugging Jung Mi.

Jung Mi: How did you get this?
(She asked surprised.)

Seo Joon: Remember.
(He said with a wink and smirk as he left.)

Jung Mi couldn't let anyone see that photo. They would misunderstand and gossip. She didn't want to hurt Taehyung or Sohye.

That night she went home with a lot of things in her head.

The next day she tried to avoid Taehyung as much as possible.

Taehyung saw Jung Mi and walked up to her with a bright smile on his face.

Taehyung: Jung Mi.

Jung Mi looked at him surprised. Then she tried to walk away as fast as she could. Taehyung was confused, as he quickly followed and grabbed her hand.

Taehyung: What's wrong?
(He asked concerned by the way she was acting.)

Jung Mi made Taehyung let go of her.

Jung Mi: It's nothing.
(She said trying to walk away again.)

Taehyung grabbed dher hand again, this time he was going to let go until he told her.

Taehyung: I know you're lying.

Jung Mi: Taehyung. Let go of me.
(She said not trying.)

Taehyung: No. I'm never letting go of your hand.
(He said serious.)

Jung Mi looked at him with sad eyes.

Jung Mi: I'm sorry.. But I wish you would just ignore me and try to avoid me as much as possible.

Taehyung: Why? What happened?

Jung Mi: Can't you see? We can't be together.
(She said as tears filled her eyes, as she made Taehyung let go of her and walked away.)

Taehyung: Wait-
(He yelled after her, but Jung Mi didn't stop.)

Taehyung listened to her, worried that if he went any closer to her. He would harm her. He didn't want to see Jung Mi hurt because of him. So would would always try to avoid her as much as possible, just as she wished.

Jung Mi stopped hanging out with them and started to hang out by herself. Since she didn't like Seo Joon anymore. And she needed some alone time with herself. She ate lunch by herself.

Irene: What happened to Jung Mi? Why isn't she eating with us anymore? Did we do something wrong?
(She asked looking at Jung Mi eating alone, feeling bad.)

Jungkook: I'm not sure either. Taehyung told us to stay away from her too.

Sohye: Where is he anyways?

Jungkook: Maybe something happened between them.

Irene: Maybe..
(She said sighing.)

Sohye knew that all of this was happening because of her, and yet she didn't even feel bad or guilty.

Taehyung: You're doing this because you're scared of Seo Joon? Do you know how much it hurts me to not see everyday?! Everytime I see you hurt or crying I want to hug you so badly. I guess that can't happen anymore.
