Goodnight

Previously:

As Taehyung was about to put his hands around her waist, Jung Mi turned around to face Taehyung. Their faces were so close together, that both of them were shocked. Their eyes were into each other's deeply. They stayed in that position for a moment, as the fireworks were still going on behind them.

After a moment.

Taehyung: How long are you going to stay in this position?
(He asked, quite shocked as well, flustered.)

Jung Mi realized and quickly pulled away, clearing her throat, flustered, and not knowing what to do.

Jung Mi: Send me those photos.
(She said not able to make eye contact.)

Taehyung: Araso. (Okay)
(He said trying to pretend that he was okay, while his face was red.)

After a short moment, Jungkook came back with some food and a drink. They sat down to eat. Jung Mi noticed that there was only one bottle of juice.

Jung Mi: Why did you only get one bottle of juice.

Jungkook: Ahh.. That.. That's because I was kind of short. Sorry.
(He said quite embarrassed.)

Jung Mi: Ah.. I see.

As she was about to grab for the drink, she felt someone else's hand as well. She looked up to see Taehyung. Then they both quickly let go of the bottle.

Taehyung: You can drink first.
(He said looking somewhere else, not being able to make eye contact.)

Jung Mi smiled. Then she opened the bottle and took a quick sip, as she was done, she handed it to Taehyung.

Jung Mi: Here.
(She said giving it.)

Taehyung took the bottle, and dranked it. Jungkook noticed something.

Jungkook: Oh!
(Both Taehyung and Jung Mi looked over at him confused and startled. Taehyung almost choked on the juice while he was drinking, and was coughing.)

Taehyung: What is it?
(He asked confused.)

Jungkook: Did you guys just drink out of the same bottle?!
(He asked smirking, as he puckered his lips into a kissing face.)

Taehyung kicked him in the shin under the table, to knock some sense back into him.

Jungkook: Oww!!
(He screamed in pain as he held onto his shin that Taehyung kicked.)

Jung Mi smiled, trying to hold in her laughter. Since she knew she shouldn't be laughing at this moment.

It was time for them to go back to the school, and from there they had to go home by theirselves.

On the ride back home, Taehyung and Jungkook sat next to each other as Jung Mi sat in a seat alone across from them. Both Jungkook and Jung Mi were asleep, knocked out from today.

Taehyung was still holding onto the bottle of juice from earlier, smiling as he looked at it. Then he looked over at Jung Mi, her head was bobbing all over. Taehyung sighed, as he quickly changed seats and went to sit next to Jung Mi.

Taehyung gently got her head, and put it on his shoulder.

Taehyung: You're going to break your neck if you don't stay still.
(He said to her in a soft tone.)

The bus ride back to their school was quiet.

In Taehyung's room.

Taehyung sat on his mini couch, still holding onto the bottle of juice from earlier. He couldn't stop thinking about when their eyes met, with the fireworks still going on behind them. Just thinking about it made him happy and smile. Then he remembered, Jung Mi told him to send him the photo they took together.

He got his phone out of his pocket and pulled up the photos. He immediately smiled as soon as he saw her. She was so beautiful and cute in the photo. He had never seen her smile like that before with him. Taehyung was surprised at himself, that he actually smiled in the photo with her.

Taehyung kept staring at Jung Mi in the photo for about an hour, until he remembered that he had to send it to her. It was pretty late, but he sent them anyways. As soon as he sent them, he got a text back from her right away. He opened it up.

{Text Message}

Jung Mi: Thanks.

Taehyung: Are you still up?

Jung Mi: I just got home. I had to stop by to get something.

Taehyung: Goodnight.

He was surprised he actually sent her that. He didn't mean to send it, but then he got a text back.

Jung Mi: Goodnight.

Which made him smile widely. Taehyung rushed over to his bed, and jumped into it. He kept looking at the text over and over again of her sending "goodnight".
