we were on our way to the cheesecake factory and i was texting maggie's friend emma. hopefully she can hook me up with maggie because kenzie or sophia aren't helping, at all.

sophia doesn't want me dating her friends, but who said i wanted to date maggie. i mean i don't want to just hit it with her once, friends with benefits is what i like to call it.

sophia just doesn't even like that either. but i can't help it. maggie is just so imperfectly perfect. but i 'can't have her' which is absolutely bullshit.

i was in the passengers seat and charles was driving, the girls were in the back. "where's the aux" i said looking around.

"oh? this?" maggie said holding up the cord. i nodded as she smiled.

damn that smile.

"can i have it?" i said returning the smile.

she smirked, "oh, no. i have aux, maybe when you are less of a dick you can have the aux" she said winking as she shuffled play on her playlist.

kenzie and sophia started laughing at maggie's comment. "i cant believe you just said that" sophia attempted to say.

"stop laughing, it's not even funny" charles said pulling into the restaurant.

"we are here" kenzie yelled unbuckling.

maggie looked at her and rolled her eyes and then looked at me.

fuck i was staring again.

i turn away quickly turning on my phone to 'check the time'.

this is going to be a long night.
