joey dropped emma and i off at our hotel and went home. i'm pretty sure sophia is still home so that is going to be very awkward very fast.

"so where are you two going" emma said unlocking our door and walking in.

"i don't know. dressy but casual" i said stepping in behind her closing the door.

"always has to be a surprise with joey damnit" she said rolling her eyes.

"you right, but i'm not gonna complain, it's joey." i said smiling.

"date, please" she said walking over to the dresser.

"tell him that" i said i said rolling my eyes.

joey fucking birlem and i are going on a date, and sophia hates me. what are the odds.

i was swearing a white crop top with brandy melville sweatpants and my nike air force shoes. it was cute but not too fancy.

joey was on his way to pick me up and emma just got an uber to kenzie's house.

i looked at my phone and saw that joey texted me that he was close so i grabbed my room key and a little wallet as i walked out of my hotel room.

i took the elevator down and saw joey waiting in the chairs set up. "maggie boo" he said smiling wide.

a sweatshirt, jeans, and vans. basic but hot.

i smiled and walked over to him giving him a hug "hi joey" i said dragging out the y.

"let's go, we have plans" he said grabbing my hand walking out of the hotel lobby.

i got into his car and buckled my seatbelt "so where are we going?" i asked.

"in n out, and then to a little spot where we can overlook the city." he said starting the car.

"you're so cute" i said as he grabbed my hand with his free one.

i couldn't help but smile the whole ride there,

i might be falling in love with joey birlem.
