i woke up in sophia's room but with no sophia. i rolled off the bed and forced myself to walk over to her desk where my phone was. on my phone was a piece of paper.

hey mags sorry i had to leave so soon i totally forgot bella and i had to go out today since she is visiting la. i will be home around five so entertain yourself

i swear to god if joey is home i will jump out of sophia's window.

i grabbed my phone and started going through my notifications and looked at the time, 10:56 am. damn i slept good.

i opened her door and walked downstairs into the kitchen to see joey sitting at the island.

"good morning sleepyhead" he said looking at me and then looking back at his phone.

"uh yeah morning" i said walking to the fridge and got a water. "is jen home?" i said taking a sip of my water.

"nope" joey said popping the p.

great.

"did you eat already?" i said to joey. he shook his head no.

"okay do you want to go get something to eat? i don't want to cook anything" i said.

"is the maggie johnson not being rude?" he said sarcastically. "of course, go get ready. i'll drive" he said winking and walking upstairs.

"oh shut up" i said rolling my eyes walking upstairs to sophia's room.

since i forgot my clothes i went through my bags from the mall the other day. i grabbed a white long sleeve sweater thing with a pair of light washed jean shorts. i walked over to where my shoes are and slipped on my white vans.

i grabbed my phone and walked out the door to joey's room and knocked. after a couple of seconds and shirtless joey opened the door.

damn. he's hot.

no he's not maggie he's sophia's brother.

"yes?" he said. looking at me.

"are you almost ready? i'm hungry" i said folding my arms, staring at him.

"yeah let me just put a shirt on and i'll be downstairs." he said noticing i was staring. "oh and take a picture it'll last longer babygirl" he said winking walking over to his closet.

"fuck you birlem" i said turning around walking downstairs.

"anytime" i heard him yell.

within seconds joey was walking down the stairs. "let's go mags" he said grabbing his keys and opening the door holding it for me.

"joey not being rude? wow" i said smirking as i walked out of the door with him following

i opened the car door and got in and joey did the same. "you look good today mags" he said smiling and starting the car.

"uh thanks birlem" i said giving him a small smile.

maybe this isn't as bad as i thought it was gonna be.
