jen dropped emma and i off at our hotel. joey, emma, sophia, kenzie, charles, and i are all going out to dinner tonight again. i'm nervous to go hang out with joey again, but yet again we aren't dating so he can do whatever he feels like doing.

"do you know where we are going?" i said to emma.

"not exactly but kenzie said it's a fancy restaurant so we need to dress up" she said rolling her eyes.

"fuck" i said throwing my hands up in the air "i don't have a nice dress to wear."

"one step ahead of you, i'm texting sophia right now" she said giving me a smile.

i sigh in relief and go on my phone. i start scrolling through instagram when i see posts from messymonday. joey and lexi are in an argument. and my name is apart of it.

"have you seen messy fucking monday" i said in shock.

"no, why?" emma said bringing her attention to me.

"joey and lexi are fighting, and i think it's because of me" i said rereading the posts.

"wow" she said shocked. "speaking of a birlem we need to be at sophia's at three to get ready for dinner at five." she said.

"and it's almost three right now way to give me a notice" i said rolling my eyes ordering an uber.

we got to sophias house and knocked on the door and then walked in to show that we were here.

"hey girls soph's upstairs in her room" jen said smiling.

we nodded and walked upstairs "hey i'm gonna talk to joey for a minute, tell soph i'll be right in" i said walking to joey's door.

"be nice, don't be a bitch. but don't be too nice" she said smiling and walking into sophia's room.

i knocked on the door to joey's room "who is it?" he said not too loud.

"mags" i said waiting in front of the door.

i heard him get off his bed and walk over to the door opening it "what do you want" he said resting an arm on the door frame.

"to talk" i said giving him a small smile.

he opened the door wider, allowing me in. i walked in as he shut the door. "so what do you want to talk about?" joey said taking his hood off his head.

"i saw messymonday joey" i said walking over to his bed.

i sat down as he walked toward me sighing "i blocked lexi. it was a one time thing. i want you maggie." he said sitting down next to me. "just you."

"joe-" i started to say getting cut off

"i know you're mad at me, you have every right. but lexi means nothing to me." he said looking at me.

"i'm not mad at you, i know i have that impression but i'm not." i said

his face lit up "really?" he said with hope gleaming in his eyes.

"for the most part yeah. i mean i told you one screw up and we are done" i said looking around.

"maggie" he said grabbing my hand "i promise if you give me another chance, it'll be worth it" he said looking at me.

i slightly bit my bottom lip, "now if you don't say anything i'm gonna kiss you." he said looking at my eyes and then down to my lips.

i giggled "one more chance joseph. one more." i said smiling slightly.

he brought me into a hug and stroked my hair "thank you babygirl" he said holding me tight.

i pulled away shaking my head and got up off his bed "make it worth it" i said winking walking out of his room.
