"nicknames again? wow, is maggie not playing hard to get for once" he said uncovering his face.

"off limits huh?" joey said looking at me confused. "what is that suppose to mean?"

"you're my best friends brother. so that means off limits. are you stupid?" i said rolling my eyes playfully.

"oh so you would like me if it wasn't for soph" he said as a smirk came across his face.

"what?" i said dragging out the a. "i mean, maybe." i said as i felt my cheeks starting to heat up.

"so let's pretend. let's play a game. sophia is no longer my sister." he said taking a sip of his drink. "and let's see where that gets us."

"joey you don't date. you're a fuckboy." i said rolling my eyes.

but that would be nice i suppose. getting to know joey, not having him be sophia's brother.
