Here With You

Chapter 7

We went to a nearby convenience store to eat some ramen, I tried to pay for my own but he paid instead without saying anything and walked to a table outside. When I reach in my wallet to get money to pay him back he still stops me from returning the favor and I just thank him.

"You were really nice with that ajumma today. I think she really liked the pictures, she seemed really happy." I smile at the thought and we both begin to eat.

"Ah it's been a while Park Hae-jin, could you possibly be on a date?" I turn to the unfamiliar voice. "Ohh it's the new girl! I'm Choi Jae-suk." He introduces himself. 

"It's not like that so get lost." He coldly says and I begin to sense some tension.

"If it's not like that then you won't mind if I get to know her and then ask her out? You know, now that I'm looking at her she's totally my type." He says smirking and I look to Hae-jin who has his jaw clenched tightly. "Ah you know my dad really misses seeing you around, he says you should come over again." He now looks at me and I can't really understand this situation right now. "Soo-min, when you see me around at school don't be shy to say hello, I can give you help if you want." Hae-jin throws away the ramen bowls and grabs our bags of fruit,

"Let's go." He is all he says before he grabs my wrist next.

"Yah! I wasn't done with-" I try to say as he drags me away. After we turn the corner his grip around me is still tight. "Let me go! I said let me go!" I pull away from him. "Who do you think you are to drag me like that? But.. do you not get along well with him?" I wait for answer but he just shoves my bag in my arms and turns to walk with his hand in his pocket. "Are you close with his family? Why did he mention his dad?" I ask curiously.

When we arrive to my gate I look up to him to see if he will answer any of my questions but he still won't say anything about Choi Jae-suk.

"Don't worry about it and just text me the pictures, go inside." He says and continues walking.
