The past few weeks have been the same, I've become really close with Jae-suk and Hae-jin. I spend a lot of my time talking to them and Mi-young. It also seems like Hae-jin is starting to become more talkative which is what ahjussi wanted, he still sometimes has a bad attitude though and makes snarky comments towards others. The boys have just started started sitting with Mi-young and I. They don't talk to each other but they interact with us just fine and they're really kind towards me. Him and Jae-suk have such an odd relationship that I'm sill trying to figure out. I make a quick stop to the restroom before class starts this morning. When I'm washing my hands, the same girls along with some other come into the restroom and block the way so I can't get out.
"Oh Kang Soo-min we meet again, how did your ankle heal? Are you feeling better?" She says in the most insincere way possible.
"What do you want? I don't have time for this." I cross my arms.
"Did you think we were kidding when we told you stop flirting with Jae-suk? You even have Hae-jin under your sleezy spell now too?"
"Yoo-ri is it? I believe I already told you that it isn't like and to not misunderstand. If you have that much a problem then talk to them about it. Now move out of may." I move past her then her sidekicks shove me back in front of her, Yoo-ri pushes my shoulder and glares at me.
"Hey, did I say we were done? Where do you think you're going. I wasn't kidding about what I said before, that little slip up in the gym that day was the begging. Don't make me take it for because next time it won't be some minor." She says repeatedly poking her finger at my forehead. My hand grabs her wrist and I stare her down.
"I really hate when people do that. Please don't upset me." I squeeze tighter. "People like you really piss me off." I release my grip and push past the others girls. When I get to class my three friends are sitting around my desk and it appears that they have been waiting for me.
"You're later than usual."
"I know I just had to to take care of something. Did you all have something to tell me?" Mi-young cutely discusses the gossip she heard about our class going on a camping trip. She can never resist gossip, she lives for it and it's what keeps her going. We don't really pay attention to her because normally all the information she conveys is never really true but it's still entertaining to see her get all excited. Ms. Kim walks into class with her books and everyone returns to their seat. During class there was no mention of any class trips and I look over to Mi-young who has the most desperate look on her face but of course her source of information was proven to be unreliable. I work on our math assignment and I notice Hae-Jin hasn't gotten very far on it, he refuses to complete it because it's too difficult for him.
"What kind of idiot can't do this work? Even little children can do this." Jae-suk laughs at him, I shoot him a glare and he shrugs.
"Don't listen to him. If you want I can always help you, what's difficult about it?" We both work on our assignment until it's time for lunch.
Before we go to the cafeteria I go to the bathroom really quick, no one is inside so I left my hair from my shoulders to view my marking. The second diamond is starting to run low and I start feel nervous about the time I have left. I can't tell if I'm making any progress on Hae-jin or not and if I am, I don't know if it's enough to go back home. If I don't get to my portal and return home I'll die. Before anyone else came inside I put my hair back down and made sure my neck couldn't be seen and go meet my friends for lunch.
