Here With You

Chapter 20

I feel cold weight on my forehead and when I open my eyes Chang-soo next to me. Feeling dizzy and confused, I move my hand where I can feel the pressure. It's a cold rag.

"Oppa, what's this? What are you doing?" I sit up and begin to panic, "It's late, I mean I'm late. I have to go to school!"

"You should rest some more you have a fever and your face lost some color. You're not in the right condition to go to school."

"But I have exams coming up and I need to study for them."

"I think you've been studying and going out too much and you hardly eat anymore. Anyway, by the time they come we will already be gone. I've already started packing."

"Oh, right." tears roll down my cheeks at the reminder.

"I know it's hard, I'm sorry." He wipes my wet cheeks then gently holds me in his arms. This is the most calm and caring I've seen Chang-soo in a while since we got here. I'm used to him always yelling at me. "I don't like seeing you so upset. Why don't you continue to rest, okay? I'll be back to check up on you." When he closes my door I immediately shoot up to write in my journal. I reach in my backpack to discover that it's not there. I search through my desk and it's not there either. Now that I think about it, I haven't seen it in a while. Where could it be? Where and when did I lose it? As rummage through my room my phone chimes.

Hae-jin♡♡: Where are you?

I smile at his text.

I really wanted to come today but I wasn't feeling well, I'm sorry. :(

Are you okay? Do you need to go to the hospital? Should I leave school and come over? Should I bring anything?

No I don't think it's a good idea, Chang-soo is here with me so don't leave school it's not that serious. Thank you. ♡

I give up on the search for a while and continue to rest like Chang-soo suggested. Where did these four months go this fast? It seems like just last week I met Hae-jin and now it's already time to leave. Maybe I should have told him sooner, is it too late? Later is better than never I guess. I'll do it early tomorrow.
