10. We're Being Watched

Link's P.O.V.

I was in the hospital wing for a whole week. My ribs and internal bleeding had been healed fully. I still had a broken arm, broken nose, and a minor concussion. This meant I had to rest. No classes, no running around, no anything! At least not for another week. I was to rest. The only thing that was keeping me from falling behind on my studies, was that Zelda helped me with the homework I had to make up.

"No Link, a bezoar is a stone taken from the stomach of a goat. It can serve as an antidote for many poisons." she corrected.

"Right." I said crossing out my answer and writing in what she told me. "Of course. I'm being stupid."

"No you're not. You made an honest mistake." she said gently. "Besides, you're not thinking clearly. If your tired we can stop."

"No. I'm fine." I assured her.

"Link, that's a load of bullshit and you know it." she said as she put my work away. "Now let's go down for dinner."

We went down to the Great Hall together, talking in Hylian the entire way down. Zelda told me about what happened today. She told me Harry Potter had pissed off Umbridge and he had detention tonight.

"I feel bad for him. The Triforce protected me, but he has nothing to protect him. Should we tell someone of her torture methods?" I asked in Hylian.

"No. There's nothing we can do about her. We need to lay low for awhile. I overheard the Minister's pissed about us being here. Umbridge is his pawn. I also heard from the Order that Voldemort arranged that attack on you." she informed me in the same language. "He's going to try to get rid of us in anyway he can. Even if it's just sending us back to Hyrule for now, but he will have us killed eventually."

"I know. Ganon thinks he can trust this Voldemort, but he can't. As soon as we're out of the picture, he will be killed so Voldemort can claim the Triforce, ruling both this world and Hyrule." I said as we came to the Gryffindor table.

"We can't let that happen, Link!" she cried in English. "Neither can rule Hyrule! We can not doom my subjects to such a horrible fate! It is our duty to protect them."

"I know it is." I replied. "Don't worry, Zel. We'll protect them from that fate."

"Hem hem." a familiar cough came from behind us. I turned around and that toad Umbridge was standing there.

"Problem, madam?" I asked, forcing myself to be polite.

"What are you talking about?" she asked in that disgustingly girly, fake voice of hers.

"That's none of your business, you disgusting, old toad." I said coolly in Hylian.

"What did you say?" she asked.

"He said that it was nothing." Zelda replied in English. "Sometimes he has a habit of slipping into Hylian."

She walked away, clearly displeased. Zelda turned to me. I could tell she was trying hard to hide her anger and not explode on me. She wasn't very good at it.

"Link." she said calmly in Hylian. "What did I say about laying low? Look, I know it's hard, but please try to control your temper. Can you at least promise me that?"

"Of course, Princess." I replied in the same language. "I'll try, but I can't promise anything." She sighed, clearly defeated.

"I suppose that is the best I'll get." she said in English.

"Yes, yes it is." I agreed. "Now, I'm starving, let's eat."
