11. Marth and Ike

Zelda's P.O.V.

"Zelda!" Link cried running into Defense Against the Dark Arts late. "It came! Our invitation to Super Smash Bros. Mario finally sent it out. I need to get in contact with Marth and Ike to see if they made it. Read it to me, please. Mario forgot I can't read English." He handed me the letter.

"It says that Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Rosalina, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Yoshi, you, me, Sheik, Toon Link, Samus, Zero Suit Samus, Fox, Pit, Palutena, Kirby, King Dedede, Pickachu, Greninjia, Charizard, Lucario, Captain Falcon, Marth, Ike, Robin, Lucina, Olimar, Sonic, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Little Mac, Mii Fighters, Pacman, and Mega Man have been invited to the new Super Smash Bros." I read.

"What about Meta Knight?" he asked. "He's awesome."

"You only think he's awesome because he can fly and he's a swordsman." I pointed out. "Besides Ike, Marth, and Toon Link are going to be there. And I think Lucina uses a sword."

"Don't mention that copy cat, Toon Link." he said with disgust. "Anyway, I heard Lucina was pretty much a female version of Marth. She even looks like Marth, just more feminine features."

"Are you insinuating that Marth, one of your best friends, looks like a girl?" I asked.

"Of course not. That'd be like saying Pit looks like a chicken." he replied. "I mean there's a difference."

"Yes, the chicken is probably more intelligent." I agreed. He started to laugh.

"That's not nice Zelda. Pit might not be the brightest crayon in the box, but he has his moments" Link pointed out.

"That is enough!" Umbridge yelled. Oops, I forgot about her.

"Hey old toad, I don't give a fuck about your class. This is Super Smash Bros we're talking about." Link said. "It's only the greatest fighting game ever. You wouldn't last two seconds against Olimar with no Pikmin and that's saying something, because he can't fight without Pikmin."

"He has a point. Jigglypuff could beat you. Heck Pichu could beat you and it was cut after Melee because it damaged itself, was easily launched, and had little attack power." I added.

"That's bad if you're a worse fighter than Pichu." Link pointed out. "Besides I have friends that are going to be there that can kick your ass and won't give a damn about the Ministry, because the Ministry doesn't control us."

"Like who?" Umbridge asked.

"Like us." a familiar voice came from the doorway. It was Ike. "Mario expressed concern when you two didn't reply, so he sent Marth and I to figure out what was going on."

"We are on a mission for the King. We didn't get our letter until today." Link told him. "Don't ask what the misson is because it's top secret, at least we can't tell this old hag." He pointed to Umbridge.

"I suspect the hag had confiscated one of our letters because we each should gotten one." I added. "Link's to be exact." I pointed to my name on the front. "How he got ahold of this one is beyond me."

"Well, Mario did say he suspected you didn't get them." Marth said, pulling a letter out of his pocket and handing it to Link. The writing was clearly in Hylian. "He remembered you can't read English so he had someone help him translate it."

"You'll need to respond to Mario soon. He needs to tell the Smash Council how many's going." Ike said. "But we're assuming you both are going."

"Of course!" Link yelled excitedly. "By the way assuming makes an ass out of you and me, just for future references." Marth and I laughed

"He's right you know." Marth said. "Come on Ike, let's go tell Mario they're coming. If you two need anything don't hesitate to call." Ike turned to Umbridge.

"You don't give them trouble or you'll answer to us." he threatened. "You two call us if this old bat gives you any trouble." They disappeared leaving us with Umbridge.
