3. Prophetic Nightmares

Link's P.O.V.

In the nightmare Zelda was in a crystal prison. Beneath her was a red hair, green skinned man playing an organ. Nearby a bald man with a snake-like face and red eyes sat on a black throne stroking a snake. The man playing the organ stopped. He turned to me. The voice he spoke in was not his.

"You can prevent this." said a horse, vaguely female voice. "The Dark Lord and King of Evil try as we speak to join forces. The Triforce. In order to get it you must die. The Dark Lord sees you and the Princess as a threat. They shall kill you both if they successfully join forces. Carry the Blade of Evil's Bane with you at all times. It will kill the Evil King and seriously harm the Dark Lord." The dream faded to black.

I was sitting up in bed. It was three in the morning. I decided I wasn't going back to sleep and I wasn't going to wake Zelda, so I quietly got dressed and went downstairs. I heard voices as I came to the kitchen. I silently slipped in. Dumbledore, Sirius, Lupin, Mr. Wesley, and Mrs. Wesley were all talking. They finally noticed me.

"Ah Link, you're up early." Mr. Wesley noticed. "You really should get back to bed."

"I can't sleep." I replied.

"You had one too?" a voice said. Zelda. "A nightmare."

"How'd you guess?" I asked, jokingly.

"My divine wisdom sensed it." she teased.

"Well my divine courage is sensing you had a prophetic nightmare too." I teased back.

"Yes. It warned me that evil forces are rising." she answered. "You?"

"It warned me Ganon and Voldemort are trying to join forces and that if they succeed we will all die." I replied.

"I have a plan." she said. "You and I are the only ones who can prevent this, because we possess the weapons to keep Ganondorf at bay. I brought along the Ocarina of Time. I shall use my powers as a sage to open a portal to the Temple of Time. You will retrieve the Master Sword and I will reopen the portal. I shall watch from here." She grabbed a bowl of water and muttered something.

"Good plan." I said.

She pulled out a purple ocarina and played "Zelda's Lullaby." A blue portal appeared and I stepped through it. I was standing in the Temple of Time.

"Link! Can you hear me?" Zelda's voice yelled.

"Loud and clear." I answered.

I walked up to the Master Sword and pulled it out of its pedestal. A blue portal appeared and I was transported back to Grimmauld Place. Zelda quickly closed the portal. There was a bright light and Zelda was holding a golden bow and light arrows.

"Now if Ganon attacks, we are prepared." she said handing me some of the arrows. "Take these just in case."

I pulled out my quiver and added the light arrows to my arsenal. Dumbledore got up and left while Zelda and I sat down. Mrs. Wesley put some toast in front of us and we thanked her.
