(Michaela started with that, so I had to make my point.)

The project of making a group called American Wolves was on my mind since the beginning of 2018. I wanted to join forces with other people so we could write fantastic and shocking things. My friendship with Michaela Watson was already solidified at this time, and we had already released some compositions together. So it was clearly my first choice. And there was no other: here we are, with 20 tracks divided into two parts of an album that will be released now and in October 2018.

The name "American Wolves" has a concept behind it. "American" because we - Michaela and I - are as American as the people who live in the United States, but only they are popularly known as Americans. We live on the same continent. We share blood and features. Why do not they call us Americans too? (This is a theme that will be understood in the track "American Blood".) "Wolves" because I like to compare our writing to the attack of a wolf in the forest: sagacious, fast and cruel. Words that cut glass, as Watson would say.

With the "American Woods" project, we intend to explore all extremes of the twenty-first century in two aspects: society (on the A-side) and love (on the B-side). We live in an age where there are many protests, while many people are repressed with the same force. Many people hide themselves, hide their fears and their talents, for fear of being rejected. Many blame themselves for not being better people. Many turn away from social life. Many die from oppression. In addition, modern relationships are in a crisis - loves made and broken at the same speed, increasingly discredited people that one day will find their soul mates. Still, the eternal romantics persist, who believe in passion more than anything.

I hope you, reader, are willing to enter the American forests composed of thorns, tall trees to be climbed and hills to be overcome. Welcome to the American Woods.
