Chapter 17- Saving Savanna

So excited for the next chapter!

(SAVANNA's POV)

"It seems that lines do not make you feel anything but the need to get more in trouble, Black."

"I do not know what you mean, Professor." I told Snape gently but looked at him defiantly.

"Let me see, attacking your cousin, Draco Malfoy and transforming his ears into cacti; attacking Pansy Parkinson and putting some lye soap on her hair..do you want me to go on?" he asked.

I stared at this man, who happens to be my Professor. I do not understand how I could hate him so much. Even the happiness that I felt when George and I finally fixed whatever was between us seem like a decade ago. 

"Draco Malfoy is NOT my cousin!" were the first words I ever said.

"Are you saying...Who is it?" he asked as someone knocked on the door. "If you take one step and attempt to get out.." he added and I rolled my eyes at him.

My mind started to race as I possibly ready myself, because, really, it could easily be the twins, ready to spring me out of this detention. I checked my pockets for extra dungbombs or stink pellets and my wand, readying at any moment's notice.

"It's bad enough you're giving Longbottom and Potter the preferential treatment! And now you're giving Black too!" Snape said.

"No, Severus, I am here to tell you that Savanna Lily Black will not attack any students from  your house if they do not provoke her." my eyes widened as I heard Lupin's voice.

"There's that, but Malfoy and Parkinson are badly hurt." Snape said.

"And so was Savanna, Severus. She turned up just in time for my exams with bruises and a red mark on her jaw." Lupin argued.

"Lies, Lupin. She's perfectly glowing at the moment." Snape said.

"That's because Harry healed her." Lupin said.

"Are you, perhaps, trying to form another gang with Potter and Black in it, Lupin?" Snape asked viciously.

I didn't know what he meant by that, but I never found out because at that exact moment, Peeves came in and dropped a few Dungbombs while I felt someone tug at me, but couldn't see anyone.

"Come on, Savanna, move." I froze but allowed myself to be dragged.

And in an instant, I found myself being herded out of the dungeons by Harry. I was still speechless until Harry pulled me inside an empty  classroom.

"Harry.." I said and he grinned.

"Alright! That was loads of fun." Harry said.

"Thank you, Harry. But..." I began and he shook his head.

"Told you if you need my help, I'm here. Lucky I heard Fred and George plan how to spring you out and luckier Peeves seem to develop a liking to you." Harry said.

"I owe you loads, Harry." I said and he grinned, patting my shoulder.

"Anytime, Savanna, anytime. Come on, let's go back to the common..." he began.

"OH BLACKY AND POTTY...YOU BETTER RUN AND HIDE WELL..SOMEONE ANGRY IS COMING YOUR WAY." 

I looked at Harry, who looked at me. Hastily, I took out my wand from my pocket and closed sent red sparks on the other side of the corridor and he sent green sparks on the one side. He pulled on his cloak and we both hid, then carefully walked until we passed by a fuming Snape, who slammed his door. We both grinned at each other and were about to walk back towards our common room, when Lupin appeared and grabbed us.
