Chapter 22 - Summer Getaway

(SIRIUS' POV)

"I am still not comfortable about this." Remus admitted.

"Why not?" I asked.

"Well, what if any of these women or men recognize you?" he pointed out.

"Guess I'll have to run, then." I said, shrugging.

"Don't worry, they'll have me to reckon with, but we have to be extra careful." Remus said.

"True." I said.

We both clinked out bottles together and drank the butterbeer. I watched as Remus tried to ignore a look from one woman, who popped her chest out. I laughed.

"Sirius." Remus said.

"Oh come on, that woman wants you." I said, my eyebrows danciing up and down. Remus shook his head.

"Wonder what is taking Savanna so long." Remus said.

I looked around. We were at this resort in the Canary Islands. It was packed with muggles, who were all trying to get drunk or talking to women. My eyes landed on my daughter. She was standing by the bar, talking to a muggle, who seemed to show interest at her. Carefully, I watched, ready to pounce on the guy should he do something to my daughter.

"She looks like you a lot." Remus said and I looked at him, he too, was looking at Savanna.

"Lucky her." I said and Remus rolled is eyes.

"Still vain, I see." Remus said, smirking. "Oh dear." he added.

I stood up as Savanna found herself surrounded by a couple of guys, who seem to want her for themselves. 

"Come on, sweetheart." one of them told Savanna.

Remus held me back and gave me a look that said my daughter can handle it. I shrugged but remained standing, my hand clutching the wand that Savanna had given me last week. 

"Ah, Remus..I cannot stand this." I said.

"Believe me, I am having a hard time watching this too, but Savanna can take care of herself. I've seen her got cornered by Slytherin bullies and every time that happens, those blokes were sent to the hospital wing and Savanna would march out of sight and into the Great Hall." he said.

"Her mother's bravery." I said and Remus smiled fondly. "And my talent, of course." I added and Remus rolled his eyes.

We watched as Savanna handled herself. One guy made the mistake of pulling her arm as she walked away and by that time I found myself a few feet away from me, Remus on my heels.

"Big mistake, pendejo." Savanna said and added a few Spanish words that I could not understand, then she went on and kneed the guy.

"Break it up, gents. That's my girl, right there." I finally said.

"Come on, dad, finally found us our place." Savanna said.

I continued to glare at the guys, who hurriedly left the scene before I could even utter a single word. 

(SAVANNA's POV)

"Is Papa Remus always like that?" I asked, nodding at his direction.

"No, but he usually gets a bit tired when the full moon approaches." dad answered.

"And that's in a few days, which means I have to go back to Aunt Andy's." I said, pouting and dad laughed.

"Don't pull that pouty face on me, princess.We'll be a proper family sooner. You, me, Moony, Harry..Tonks, Andy, Ted.." he said and I smiled.

"Hopefully." I said and he squeezed my hand.
