(SAVANNA's POV)

“I expect you won’t be coming home for Christmas.” Dora told me.

“What’s up with that, by the way?” I asked and she smiled.

“Not going to tell you.” Dora said and I pouted.

“Oh come on!” I said as we walked towards Platform 9 ¾.

“I can’t tell you, Sav.” she said.

“I know, I know, top secret. Come on, since when do we follow rules?” I pointed out and she sighed.

“Since I qualified.” Dora said proudly and I rolled my eyes at her.

Dora, Uncle Ted and Aunt Andy dropped me off and saw to it that everything I need is in the train and left after we said goodbye.

“Hey, Sav!” Harry greeted and waved me over.

“Hey, Harry! Had a good holiday?” I asked.

“Most of it anyway and you?” he checked.

“It was perfect.” I said and he grinned.

“Want to join us in the compartment?” he asked.

“She’d love to Harry, but not now, she, Lee, Fred and I have so much to talk about.” George said.

“I’ll drop by later.” I said and Harry nodded.

“So, Sav, missed me?” Fred asked and I grinned widely.

“Yeah, I did.” I answered.

“How’s Merlin?” Fred asked in a casual voice that didn’t fool me.

“FREDERICK GIDEON!” I yelled and everyone looked at us. He could only grin.

“Owl was a better name, anyway.” Fred said, chuckling as he and Lee went inside the train.

I followed them inside only to be held back by George. I turned to glare at him and tried to break away from his grip, but he only chuckled and held me tight. I sighed loudly and we both stepped inside the train. I made to follow Fred and Lee, but George had another idea. He dragged me towards the very last compartment and pushed me inside it gently.

“What are you doing?” I demanded as he stood facing me, his arms folded on his chest.

“How was your summer? You never wrote back.” he said accusingly.

“Because two idiots changed Merlin’s name without telling me, it won’t even come near me!” I said.

“Fred’s right though, Owl’s a better name.” he said.

I looked up at him, considering the height differences and glared at him for a few seconds, deciding what to say as he stood there, looking at me with an amused look. I swore in Spanish, causing him to laugh and I joined in.

“I missed you.” he said as he pulled me closer for a hug.

“I missed you more.” I said. “And I’m sorry I didn’t write back, Merlin..I mean, Owl wouldn’t come near me and would give me an offended look because I don’t know his new name.” I added.

“Had a good summer?” he asked.

“It was excellent.” I answered.

“You look a bit tan.” he said.

“Canary Islands.” I explained and he nodded and grabbed my hand.

“We’ll go there together, one day, yeah?” he checked.
