Chapter 19- Family

(GEORGE's POV)

"Mr. Weasley." Professor McGonagall called out.

"Yes?" Fred and I automatically answered.

"Where do you think are you going at this hour?!" she demanded.

"To the hospital wing, Professor." I answered.

"Ah, of course. Well, Madam Pomfrey told me your brother will be released anytime today." she said.

Fred and I both nodded. I took one close look at her and realized the absence of the stern look she usually had, instead, she had this half-grim, half-amused look. If ever that was possible. She realized I was looking at her.

"Now you two go ahead and see your brother, I reckon you also wanted to catch a glimpse of Miss Black." she said.

"Savanna?! What happened to her? I thought she had a detention." Fred instantly said.

"She had." she replied.

"Where do you think are you going?!" she demanded as I turned left.

"Hunting down the idiots who sent my girl to the hospital wing!" I answered and bolted, without even waiting for McGonagall's answer. I could hear Fred running after me.

"So, your girl, huh?" Fred finally asked as we made our way to the dungeons.

"Don't get too excited, Gred." I said.

"Why not? You have a girlfriend and it's Savanna! This means I get to have all the other girls." he said, his eyebrows dancing up and down playfully. I chuckled darkly.

"It's nothing official, Gred. We both have complicated lives." I said.

"What do you mean complicated?" he demanded.

"Well, she's still worried mum and dad won't like her at all, being Sirius Black's daughter." I explained.

"And what, may I ask, do you think are you two doing here?" a drawling voice asked and I turned to see Draco Malfoy, closely followed by Professor Snape.

"Oh you know, strolling along the corridors." I told him as Professor Snape frowned.

"Ten points from Gryffindor!" Professor Snape said.

"For what?" I demanded, irritated.

"Be quiet or it's going to be.." he started to say.

But whatever it was that Fred and I are going to be, we didn't find out, because at that moment, a girl with long black hair ran past us, without any backward glance. Fred and I looked at each other and ran after her.

"SAVANNA!" I called out.

"Hi, you two. Bye, you two!" she replied and continued to run.

Fred and I didn't know what was up, but ran after her. By the time she stopped, we were standing outside Lupin's office and she was breathless.

"What is going on?" Fred and I both asked.

"I'll see you at breakfast." she said.

The door opened and Savanna went in, closing the door behind her, making it clear that Fred and I are not to join her. 

"What do you reckon was that about?" Fred asked me.

"I don't know. But, we'd better go back to the Great Hall." I answered and he nodded.

 I stepped inside Professor Lupin's office and found him packing.
