(SAVANNA's POV)
"Hermione..are you..okay?" I asked.
"I am really sick of having people hate me because of what I did." Hermione said.
She moved to make some space for me and I gladly sat beside her. I watched her as she cried and patted her back.
"You know, I'd rather be hated for what I did than be hated for something I didn't do or something I didn't have a choice on." I said and she looked at me.
"I remember now..but, er, well.. Ron and Harry are my best friends." she said.
"What did you do?" I asked.
"Well, Ron's mad at me because Crookshanks ate his rat and got even more mad at me when I told Professor McGonagall about the Firebolt he received for Christmas." she answered.
"Wait, Harry received the Firebolt, right?" I asked.
"Yes." she answered. "But I only told Professor McGonagall about it because it was sent anonymously and well, it's not really a secret that Sirius Black is after him, right? I just watch over my bestfriends." she added. I sighed.
"You know, I got a necklace too, I don't know from who." I said.
"You did? Can I see?" she asked and I nodded and took it out.
Hermione held the necklace and we both looked at it. It was beautiful to be honest and half of me is dying to put it on but I just..I don't know. Hermione smiled and handed it back to me.
"I just got it back from McGonagall, so she might hand Harry his Firebolt back and then you three should talk things out. I mean, friends fight and it's normal." I said.
"You're right. Have you and the twins fought?" she asked.
"No and I'm not looking forward to it. I am used to being alone and there's nothing wrong with it but sometimes, I just feel lonely." I answered and she held my hand and squeezed it.
"Well, if you need someone to talk to, I am here, Sav." she said and I smiled.
(GEORGE's POV)
"We need to talk." Percy said as soon as he spotted me and Fred.
"Why Perce, did you miss us?" Fred asked, smirking. Percy rolled his eyes.
"I just don't like it when you're hanging out with Savanna Black." he said.
"Yeah and we don't like it when you boss us around, Perce." I said coolly.
"There's nothing wrong with her." Fred said.
"Nothing wrong for now, but she's still a Black. Sirius Black's daughter. Being a Black.."
"Is none of your business, Percy." Fred waved him off.
"I caught Ginny talking to her and I don't like it. I am just watching over her. What if Savanna goes bonkers and then attacks her?" Percy demanded.
"The correct question is, what if I attack you now?"
We all turned and saw Savanna holding her wand, poised to attack. She looked so ready to fight but I could tell, that the thought really bothers her and her voice was a bit off. It's like, she was trying to sound braver and stronger, but there's one crack. One crack that if found and poked, she would break into many pieces.
"I'll put you in detention and you will be in trouble." Percy said.
"Yeah, well, I don't really care." Savanna said.
Percy took out his wand as well and Fred stood in front of Savanna, shielding her. I went over to Percy and grabbed his wand.
"What are you doing?!" he demanded.
"You are not bossing us around, Perce. You just are not. Fred and I can be friends with Savanna all we want and she can talk to any of the Weasleys all she wants." I said.
Percy drew on his full height, his mouth twitching and I could tell he was really mad. He snatched his wand from me and walked away. I turned to see Savanna walking away as well. Fred looked at me.
"Don't mind Percy." Fred said.
"I know. Such a git." I said. "Now where is Savanna going?" I asked.
"I knew you fancy her! Go and make her happy or something, she's probably going somewhere to cry." Fred said.
"You're not going?" I asked.
"I don't want to intrude any possible snogging possibilities you and Savanna have." Fred said and left me.
(SAVANNA's POV)
I sat on top of the Astronomy Tower and began to stargaze, in the hopes of not shedding any tears at all. I've lived years being criticised as Black's daughter and have gotten used to it to the point where I ignore people. But why do I suddenly care now? Percy is just a guy. I snorted. A Weasley guy. George's brother. No, wait, Fred and George's brother. I sighed.
"Savanna Lily Black."
I jumped at the voice and my heart suddenly beat like African drums. I turned to my right and spotted George sitting beside me. He smiled, looking at me.
"George I.." began.
"Don't, Sav. It's not your fault, remember?" he asked.
"Thanks, George." I said and he bumped his shoulder against mine.
"What are you doing here?" he asked.
"Stargazing. And you?" I answered.
"Savanna-gazing." George said and I chuckled.
We both remained quiet for awhile and then a cool breeze blew and I shivered a bit. George looked at me and placed his arm around my shoulders and pulled me close.
"Thanks." I said and he chuckled.
"Just imagine I am Fred." George said.
"Easy for everyone but not for me." I said.
"Why?" he asked.
"Because, you are George Fabian Weasley and I like it that way." I said.
He leaned forward, stroked my cheek and cupped my face. I realized I couldn't breathe and I could feel my heart perform somersaults. He drew nearer until I could feel his lips against mine. His lips were soft and I love the way they move against mine. Time stood still while we snogged each other. And then, he tensed and broke away. I bit my lip, suddenly nervous.
"I shouldn't have done that." he said and stood up, looking down on me.
"Mmm..." I began.
"I should go, I have Quidditch practice." he said.
"Y-yeah." was my only answer.
And without any other word, George turned his back and went down, leaving me alone. Immediately, the happiness I felt turned into a bubble. A bubble that was burst and my shoulders slumped.
