A/N: Hey guys! So sorry for the mix up! Apparently i didn't realize when I published it it didn't save what I had pasted onto the document so here's my redo! LOL

That summer in Morioh was especially warm. Droplets of sweat started to form on your forehead as you walked down the sidewalk of a quiet street, only the occasional passerby catching your eye. You squinted down at the scribbled mess on the paper that you held in your hand.

"Damnit Koichi, you could've written it a little more clearly."

You looked up from the paper and gave a sigh of relief as the house you had been looking for finally came into view. You hurried up the steps and immediately felt the sun's heat cease as you stepped below the front porch's awning. You straightened out your clothes and wiped the sweat from you brow then rang the doorbell. There was a small commotion, then the sound of footsteps descending stairs. Finally, the door clicked and slowly creaked open.

You tried to peek into the dark crack of the door. There was definitely a figure there, but you couldn't get a good look since the house itself was somewhat dark, "Hello?"

There was a soft sigh before the door fully opened, a rather slender man stepping out into the light. You were a little taken aback by his fit appearance, seeing as he was a manga artist and all. You were honestly expecting him to be a little more...rounded.

He crossed toned his arms and looked you up and down with a slight scowl on his face, "Who're you?"

"I'm (name)."

He silently stood there with a neutral expression.

"Um...Koichi's friend?"

His brows perked up a bit at your mention of this and a slight smirk crossed his lips, "Oh," he ran his fingers through his dark hair, "So you're the one Koichi was talking about."

You exhaled as the air turned more pleasant and nodded firmly.

"I was expecting you to be thinner," he mumbled as he turned to enter his house once again, "Come in."

You followed behind, 'Did he just say...thinner? No, I must've heard that wrong.'

For it just being him, Rohan's house sure was large. It wasn't like he really had any company let alone any get togethers, so why did he have such a large house?

'It must be for show,' you thought as you started to climb the steps.

"Coffee."

You looked up curiously, your foot barely stepping on the second tier, "Huh?"

"I said coffee," he said, sharply nodding towards the kitchen door.

"Oh," you blushed, feeling dumb under his condescending stare, "right."

~

You pursed your lips as you prepared a new batch of coffee.

Your body relaxed a bit at the smell of the steaming hot coffee, its dark cocoa color holding your attention as you poured the energy-boosting liquid into the porcelain mug. Once done, you made your way up the stairs, trying your best to balance the tray in your hands. You eyed the door to the far left, his work space. For some reason you felt a little nervous, his previous attitude leaving a bad taste in your mouth. Still, you couldn't just avoid him.

You hesitantly pushed the door open with your elbow, the creak causing Rohan to momentarily stop his work and look over his shoulder. You smiled politely but he turned around and went right back to work. You pouted as you made your way to his desk, setting his drink and the sugar and cream down on the large desk.
