A/N: First Caesar request. Loved writing it because Caesar was my first JoJo love before Joot so he's very dear to my heart too. Might be a little cheesy, but hey it's Caesar, right? Hope you enjoy! Also more translation needed. LOL Sorry I just adore Italian. It's so romantic.
Caesar checked his watch for the upteennth time as he gaited down the sidewalk, a look of anxiety on his usually handsome mien. All that was going through his mind was you. Not even the annoying crunching of the paper bags in his arms could break him from imagining you by yourself when you were in such a sickly condition.
Caesar had already made you wait fifteen minutes and that had him worried. He knew you and he knew that you were practically oblivious to the fact that you were sick, seeing as you frequently wanted to walk around despite the weakness in your legs and insanely high fever. You liked being able to do what you wanted and Caesar could tell you were frustrated.
Nevertheless, he was going to make sure you'd be properly taken care of.

When Caesar arrived he was practically trembling with worry, his hands fumbling with the keys as he spoke through the door,
"(name), are you ok?"
He didn't hear any response, so when he did finally get the door open, he immediately charged in thinking you'd passed out or worse.
Fortunately, that was not the case.
You were simply sleeping. Your cheeks were flushed and your lips were parted just slightly as your chest slowly oscillated with deep breaths. Caesar's expression relaxed and an embarrassed smirk replaced his frown. He set down the weight in his arms and quietly stepped up to your bed.
You looked pale in the light that was flooding in from the balcony, but you still looked peaceful. Caesar smiled and rested himself beside you. He let his hand touch your face and gently caress your cheek, the amount of heat coming off dimming his smile just a bit.
"Hmm..." you hummed at you stirred from your sleep, your hand reaching up to meet Caesar's upon which you slowly opened your eyes,
"Oh, Caesar..." you said through the raspy pain in your throat.
"How are you feeling, tesoro mio?"
You looked up at him with a paled expression of affection,
"I'm...fine. Better now...that you're here."
"I brought your medicine and some ingredients to make soup."
Your heart practically melted at your boyfriend's overwhelming generosity,
"You don't have to...make me soup."
He frowned,
"Of course I do. I have to take care of you, amore mio," his thumb grazed your lip, so desperately wanting to kiss you.
You chuckled, looking away for a second,
"You're too good to me, Caesar..."
~
After Caesar made his wonderfully delicious chicken soup, you both had a nice little chat about nothing in particular. He'd make you laugh, he'd make you blush. He was so sweet and you adored him for his big heart.
After a little while with neither of you talking, you turned your head towards the window and sighed. You lifted the heavy blankets off you, Caesar immediately jumping to his feet,
"What's wrong?" the blonde asked in concern.
You shook your head with a smile,
"I...want to go...outside..."
You slid your legs over the bed and exhaled gently before your attempt to stand. Caesar allowed you to at least try since he knew you usually liked doing things for yourself. However, when you tried to even take a step, your muscles ached and you nearly fell. Thank God it was Caesar's strong arms that caught you.
You winced, "I...guess I... can't walk after all..."
Caesar's chest tightened up when he saw the blatant disappointment in your eyes. It must've been so terrible to be holed up in your room and bedridden going on two days, especially for you. Caesar admired your independent attitude and seeing you so inactive and sickly made his heart hurt.
"That's ok, fiore mio" he said just as you looked up from his chest,
"You don't have to."
In a surprisingly swift motion, Caesar lifted you off your feet and cradled you in his arms bridal style. Maybe it was because you were sick or maybe it was because he was strong, or both, but it seemed like no effort for him. Your lashes fluttered and your already flushed face deepened in hue as Caesar walked you to the balcony in his hold,
"Caesar..."
He simply smiled, his eyes looking forward still. Once you both made it outside, the fresh, crisp air hit your lungs with refreshing vigor. The warmth of the sun on your skin and the beautiful cyan sky made you smile almost instantaneously.
You turned your gaze back to your beloved, mesmerized by his beauty. You studied the way his blonde tresses seemed to glow in the bright sunlight and how his emerald eyes shimmered like diamonds. You loved Caesar so much it nearly broke your heart.
You reached a sickly hand to brush against the purple mark on his cheek, immediately catching his attention. You puffed your cheeks like a bashful little child,
"Ti amo...Caesar..."
The man was surprised for a moment, but his expression quickly softened and he gave the most tender laugh,
"Ti amo anch'io, (name)," he leaned down and laid his lips on your forehead,
"Tu sei tutto per me..."
Those few words lit a fire in your stomach as well as your face. Somehow your body took over and your hands clutched the sides of his face as he was pulling back from his previous kiss. Without warning you pulled him into a rushed, loving kiss. A strange sensation of energy, almost like a shockwave, flowed through your sickly body and gave you so much strength that didn't even feel sick anymore.
When you parted, you and Caesar stared at each other for a moment before you covered your mouth in realization,
"Oh...I'm sorry..."
Caesar kept a serious expression, his lips still so very irresistible,
"For what, amore mio?"
You averted your gaze from his seductive one,
"You...might get sick now..."
Caesar hummed, his eyes never leaving you,
"If falling ill is the cost of kissing your heavenly lips, then I'd gladly do it again."
Your face was getting more and more heated with his words and you began to grow light-headed, a definite result of being sick and embarrassed at the same time.
Caesar, noticing your flustered state, decided it was best to not go in for that second kiss. He wouldn't want you to pass out after all.
"So," he backed away fully,
"What do you want for dinner tonight?"
Your brow scrunched,
"Don't you...dare make me dinner. You've...already done so much...for me..."
"Well," he smirked handsomely, "that's too bad because I'll keep doing it until you're all better."
You humphed, yet flashed a wide smile at the stubborn man before you,
"What am I going to...do with you, Caesar..."
