"I love the weekend! Do you love the weekend? I love the weekend!!"
I groaned as I looked down at the little girl standing before me. She was my down the block neighbor Angelica Stewart, I babysit her all the time. Her parents are very wealthy and very busy, so they constantly needed sitters, and the pay is always great.
Her mother shot me an apologetic smile "Sorry Rainie! I'll only be a couple of hours!"
"I't's really no problem" I said "Angelica and I are friends, we're going to be just fine!"
Mrs. Stewart smiled at me again before bending down and planting a kiss on her daughters head. "Be good Angel. I love you!"
Once Mrs. Stewart had left, and Angelica could no longer wave to her from the kitchen window, the little girl hopped off the chair she was standing on and made her way towards the living room.
"I want to watch Cinderella!" she announced as she disappeared into her play room, her blond curls bouncing behind her. I watched her go in, confused. The T.V was in the living room, Angelica knew that, I mean she's seen Cinderella enough times.
However I didn't bother to try and follow her into the play room because that was "Angelicas space". And according to Mrs. Stewart, Angelica only lets two people into that room, herself and the maid who tidy's up. To everyone else its off limits.
"Uh, Gelica, the T.V's out here!"
"I know that!" I heard her reply "I'll be out soon! Just turn on the movie, okay?"
"Okay!"
I made my way over to their flat screen and sat down on the couch facing it. I switched the T.V on with the remote and quickly flipped through the Netflix movies in search of Cinderella. Thankfully, I found it right before Angelica came out of her play room. That girl was not known for her patience.
She came out in a blue gown and her hair combed back with a studded tiara. I was going to assume the tiara was fake, but in all honestly if she told me it was real, I wouldn't be surprised!
"Now I can watch Cinderella and be Cinderella at the same time!" she announced as she skipped over to the couch and sat down next to me, her dress taking up more room then both of us put together.
I chuckled as I pressed the play button on the T.V and watched as the Disney magic began. Angelica was captivated by the film, at times she even said the lines along with the movie, I mean seriously, it was scary.
We were up to the 'ball' scene when my phone rang. Angelica shot me a glare before turning back to the movie, it was almost midnight for Cinderella, and Angelica could hardly could contain her excitement, weirdly enough, Cinderella running off was her favorite scene.
I looked down at my phone and saw Maxs name pop up.
Lifting myself from the couch I stepped into the kitchen and swiped my phones screen to answer the call.
"Hello?" I asked, curious as to why Max was calling me.
"Hey Rainie" he answered "You busy?"
"Just babysitting" I said "Nothing too interesting!"
"Great. Then you have time to talk to me!"
"Talk to you?" I asked, what in the world would Hot Max want to talk to me about?
"Yeah" he replied casually "I'm waiting on line for this... thing, and I can't find anyone more interesting then you to help pass the time while I wait!"
My heart stopped, like no joke, I was dead. I mean, I had to be, there was no way this was real life!
"Uh... O-Okay" I stuttered. "What's up?"
