"Sam. I need to talk to you." Dad said walking into my room. "What's up?" I asked sitting up on my bed. "It's about your mother." He said. I never knew about her. "I left her when you were born, but I'm going away for a while. You are going to live with them." He said "Them?" I asked "Your brother Charlie and your mother. He's your twin." Dad said "YOU LIED TO ME?" I yelled " I have a twin brother! My mom is around and you didn't tell me or let me see her!?" I yelled "Sam I did what was best for you." He said "No you did what you thought was best for you. You always have." I said. Slap! He hit me. He's done this multiple times. I sat there on my bed. Emotionless. Soon he got up and left. I grabbed a few bags and through my clothes, gear and everything important to me into them and dropped them out the window.

I walked with my bags down a street. I went to the police station. "What's wrong little girl?" The lady at the desk asked. "I'm looking for my mother and my brother. His names Charlie Conway." I saiid and she typed "Do you have any other family?" She asked "A father. But he's leaving for a long time. I ran away because he hits me." I said "We are going to have one of our foster agents take you to your mothers house." She said and led me to a room. I sat there for hours so I pulled out a book and read. "Samantha Conway?" A women asked "Yes." I said "My names Abigail. I'm gonna take you to your mom." She said and helped me grab my bags. She took me to her car and I sat in the back seat. We pulled up to a small apartment building. Red bricks and stairs. "Wait here." Abigail said and got out. I was looking out the window when the door opened. "Come on out Samantha." Abby said. "This is your mom Sam." She said and moved to where I could see my mother. "Sammy." She said and pulled me into her arms. I hugged back. "Well Sam I'm gonna leave you and your family to it." Abby said to me and I got my bags out. Mom walked with me inside and led me to a room. It looked like she had made it years ago for a girl. "This was your nursery. I took the crib out and put a bed in here." She said "Thank you." I said and put my stuff up. "Charlie should be home in a few hours. He's at the pond with his team." Mom said "Team?" I asked "Hockey." She said "What team?" I asked "District 5." She said. I had played for the Hawks. That's why some of the guys looked at me with questioning looks.
"I play for the Hawks." I said "Well that's good. Charlie said his teams getting better." She said "I'm gonna unpack and go to bed it's been a long day." I said and mom hugged me and walked out of my room. I took my hawks bag out and put in in the closet. I took out my clothes, shoes and books and set them all up. I pulled the curtains and saw a group of boys walking around outside. I walked to my bed and turned off my light and went to bed.

I woke up the next morning and smelt pancakes. I pulled on a shirt and pulled my hair down and grabbed my hawks hoodie and walked out. "Charlie. I have something to tell you." Mom said. I walked in the kitchen as she finished her sentence. "Mom who's this?" The boy asked "Charlie this is your twin sister Samantha. When your father left, he took her with him. They lived in town." Mom said "Your a Hawk?" He asked "Um y-yeah." I stuttered that happens when I get nervous. "Hey mom I need to go to practice do you think you could drive me?" I asked "Sure Sammy." She said and I ate and then went to change. I put on pants, converse, and grabbed my jacket, hockey bag and walked out. Mom drove me to the rink and Charlie went somewhere with his friends. "Thanks mom. My friends mom can bring me home if you want." I said "I'll be here at 10:30 ." She said "Okay." I said. It was nice to have a good parent around. I walked up and saw Larson and McGill. "Sam!" They yelled. "Your dad was here. Talking to Reilly saying you ran away." Larson said "I didn't run away. I went to my moms after my dad hit me. Now can we get to practice!" I said not wanting to talk about it.

I went home and showered and chilled in my room. The rest they say mom was working. Around 8:30 I got ready for bed since tomorrow was Monday and I'd be going to school.
