Today was the day we faced the hawks in the championship. We had gotten good. Now that the ducks had two former hawks.
I skated to my spot on the bench. Adam was next to me and we were both nervous to play them.
I sat on the bench and waited for the game to start.
I skated down the ice. We were tied with the hawks. I saw McGill coming for me. I was inches away from the goal. I felt him collide with my side and I was slammed into the wall. I felt a crack in my shoulder. "McGill you hurt me!" I yelled and tried to move my right arm but it hurt to bad. "Charlie!" I yelled and he skated over to me along with Adam and Connie. "Coach I can't move my arm." I said "Sam Conway is down. Someone get the medics in the rink!" The announcer said. I felt them lift me up and carry me away. "Sam." Larson said "Go away you hawk." I spat as they closed the door. I was taken to the hospital. I had x-rays done. I had broken my shoulder. They told me I might not be able to play hockey anymore.
They made me stay in the hospital over night which sucks.
I woke up the next morning and was released to go home.
