Distraction (Ch.58)

Cameron's POV

When I finally catched up to Mr. Grier, he told me that Nash was at our hotel room door waiting.

"But isn't he going to meet you guys?"

"He already did. That's why Sofia was there."

Nodding my head, I wished Mr. Grier a good day and walked back to the hotel room.

As indicated, Nash was standing there, talking to someone on the phone.

"Yeah mom, love you too. Yes. No. Okay. Yeah of course. Alright. Bye."

As he hung up the phone, he gave me a huge hug.

"What was that for?," I asked surprised.

"For bringing Skylynn, Hayes, and my dad here. It means a lot, man."

"Thanks. Now, Sofia and Savannah are in there so I wanted to scare them."

A huge smile spread across Nash's face as he held onto the doorknob.

"One," he started to mouth. "Two, and three!"

Nash opened the door in a haste as we both screamed at the top of our lungs.

Surprisingly, the girls didn't say anything.

Savannah stared at me with hurt eyes while Sofia's was a "shut up" look.

On top of the bed, Savannah was engulfed in Sofia's arms as if they had been like that since I've left.

"Are you guys, ok?," Nash asked them in a soft voice.

"Yeah, we were just talking and.." Sofia started but soon stopped while staring at Savannah.

"..we found out that we might be twin sisters and my parents might still be alive."

Savannah looked down from me, burying her face in Sofia's shoulders.

"What?," Nash and I said in unison. "You guys? Related?"

Sofia nodded her head while Savannah embraced her.

"Yep, she's my beautiful clone," Savannah said as she kissed her forehead. "I'm glad I finally found you."

"Me too."

I rushed by Savannah's side while Nash sat by Sofia's.

"When are you going to tell the rest of them?," Nash asked the girls.

"Don't know. But probably now would be great," they agreed.

Sofia's POV

As the whole gang started to pile up in the room, I took Savannah by the hand and walked out with her.

"Sav, what will happen if they judge us? Or even worse?"

"They would never do that," she replied while exhaling huge sighs.

She placed her back against the wall and slowly sunk down to the floor.

"Just so you know," she started while staring at me. "Those were happy tears back there."

"I know, because you're my twin," I replied while extending out my hand.

She took it as she started to laugh in sync with mine.

"Should we go back in there? I'm pretty sure they're waiting for us."

She smiled in agreement while opening the wooden door.

As we opened it, we found everyone in a circle with their eyes darting back and forth at us.
