New House, Fresh Start (Ch.17)

Chapter 17

Savannah's POV

I heard the sound of pots and pans falling down and my heart started to pound really fast. I quietly exited my room and slowly stalked whoever was in my kitchen.

I started to laugh as I saw Cameron, trying to make eggs but instead, making all the pans fall.

"Good morning, Cam!" He turned around and had a cheesy smile on his face. "This isn't what it looks like."

"Sureee.." I giggled and laughed even more. I was tearing up with laughter and finally helped Cameron with the mess.

"You're adorable when you're guilty." Cameron started to chuckle, rubbing the back of his neck. "I know.."

"Did you finish packing? We need to leave today!"

"Yes," I yelled from my room. Cameron was helping me pack up to leave and start living in his house. I thought it would seem weird but his mom actually let me.

I packed all my possessions and took time to remember all the good memories I had here before I left, forever.

I walked over to the window, where I drew pictures with Nash, Cameron, Anna, and Monica when we were little. Cameron and I drew a couple that were in love while Anna, Nash, and Monica drew all of us holding hands and in a speech bubble, one of us said, "We will always be best friends, till the end."

My eyes started to get glossy and I pulled out my phone to take a picture of the drawings. I will never forget these memories, I promised myself.

I put my bag over my shoulder and walked out of my room. I ran downstairs and met Cameron in his car, listening to music.

"You ready, Savannah?" I nodded my head and walked out of the house.

Cameron came out of his car and stood next to me at the front of the house.

"Savannah, I promise, we'll start a fresh future together. You and I will be together,connected right at the hip. I love you Savannah. You mean a lot to me."

I looked up at him and laid my head on his chest. His hands were on my waist and for the first time, I felt safe.

"I wish I could burn this place down to ashes. It's filled with nothing but troubling memories."

" I know Savannah but your parents wouldn't want that, would they?"

I shook my head no and held on to Cameron.

"Cameron...," I said.

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for everything. How can I ever pay you back?"

Cameron pulled away for me and leaned in for a kiss. His hands cupped my face and he kissed me, hard. His tongue licked my lower lips, wanting entrance to my tongue. He leaned onto me, kissing me against the brick wall of my house. His hungry lips worked sloppily leaving wet kisses on my neck. We continued to kiss even more until Cameron's phone buzzed.

We pulled apart and Cameron looked at his phone.

"Shit. My mom said we need to be there in 10 minutes."

Cameron and I hopped inside the car, and he started to drive. Once we reached his house, he opened the door. We walked in, and greeted his mother.

She told me that I had to share with Cameron."Better not do anything crazy!" Cameron and I stared at each other and he looked away.

"Where's your room?"

"Go upstairs and then make a right."

"Ok. Thanks." I grabbed my stuff and headed upstairs.

Once I opened the door, I met Nash and some other boys in his room.

Then, I dropped my stuff and ran.

"CAMERON!! THERE'S BOYS IN YOUR ROOM!"

Cameron looked at me strange like I had three heads.

"If you don't believe, go check yourself!"

Cameron walked upstairs and I followed him.

He opened his room and he started to laugh.

"What are you laughing at?"

"Savannah, I forgot to tell you that my friends were coming over today!"

I entered the room and was greeted by unfamiliar faces except for Nash's.

"Savannah, these are my friends Carter, Taylor, Matthew, Shawn, Jack, Jack, and Aaron."

They all waved hello but the Taylor kid had a dirty look.

"So, this is the surprise;your friends scaring the hell out of me!"

Cameron and the others laughed except Nash.

"Savannah, we're going on tour for some time so we'll be moving a lot," Cameron said.

"Oh. So are you going to be gone for a long time?" My eyes started to get teary, thinking Cameron would leave me here.

"Yes, but that's why I bought another ticket for you so you could join us!"

"Cameron! Thank you so much!!"

I threw my arms around him and I leaned in for a kiss but someone coughed.

"Oh, sorry guys! Forgot you were here," Cameron said.

We both blushed and turned away from each other.

The boys laughed and grabbed their stuff.

Taylor came up to us and said, "I'm having a party tonight. If you want to come, you can." He winked at me and left with the other boys.

"Savannah, stay away from Taylor. He's bad news!"

"What do you mean? He seems nice."

Cameron sighed and sat down on his bed.

"Taylor acts nice and then once a girl finally likes him, he acts crazy and shit. Last time, he tried to have sex with this new girl and she was so scared, she had to transfer to a different school."

I was shocked. Taylor seemed nice and all but I guess I was wrong.

I walked over to Cameron and sat on his lap. He started to play with my hair and I started to tickle him.

"Savannah, stop. I'm ticklish!!" I tickled him even more and then he threw me onto the bed. He then gained control.

He held me by the wrists and he leaned in for a kiss. I pulled him closer, wrapping my hands around his neck. Cameron's hands slipped up my shirt and I got up.

"Cameron, what are you doing?"

Cameron got off the bed and left the room. Well that was awkward.

I followed Cameron and saw that the boys were downstairs, making vines. I felt someone's eyes on me and turned to find Taylor with a creepy grin in his face.

I looked away and walked back into the room. I started to fix the floor which was going to be my bed for tonight.

I pulled out my comforter and spread it onto the floor. Then, I took the pillows from Cameron's bed. I looked over at the time and saw it was almost noon.

I dragged my bag near Cameron's bed and pulled out a blanket.

Before I laid on the comforter, I felt a cool hand cover my eyes.

"Cameron, stop! I want to sleep!"

His hand moved away and I closed my eyes and he kissed my lips.

I opened my eyes and realized that whoever I kissed definitely wasn't Cameron.
