Tyde Levi

Chapter 1

Kate's pov

Thank god that it's Friday. That means that I am going to Austrailia for a month. My parents have been planning this trip for months! Oh how rude, I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Katerina Danielle Caton. I am 13 years old (turning 14 in a February ) and I live in Canada! With my 17 year old brother Ryan, 5 year old sister Marina and my parents Dylan (dad) and Sage (mom).

I have light brown hair and hazel eyes. I'm pretty tall but it's all in my legs, not my torso. I am a runner so I'd like to think of myself as fit.  

We have been planing this trip to Australia forever. We are going to Perth and staying awith some of my dad's wprk friends.

"Come on guys! Let's GO!" I yelled from the bottom of the stairs.

"My god Kate. It's 5 in the morning stop yelling!" Ryan yelled back. What a hypocrite.

After an hour we were in the car and on the way to the airport! I'm probably more excited for the plane then I am for the destination. I love the feeling of being so far from the ground and all of my problems. 

When we got there we checked our bags in and went through security with no problem. Before we got on the plane I obviously went to Tim Hortans for a bagel and a frozen lemonade, because what else would I eat.

"Flight 36 going to Perth, Australia. First class is now loading."

"That's us!" My dad says.

We boarded the plane and I was sitting beside Ryan and I had a window seat! Marina was in front of us with my parents. Ryan and I are extremely close so we talked for most of the flight and I slept for the rest of it.

After the plane ride we picked up our rental car for the month. It was pretty nice. The car ride to the house was about an hour so I got comfy and plugged in my headphones and took a nap.

"Kate wake up! We are at their house." Ryan said while shaking my shoulder.

"I'm up. I'm up." I looked out the window and gasped. My dad said the house was big but he didn't say it was a damn mansion!

"Holy shit..." Ryan said with the same expression as me.

"Sooooo biggggg" Marina said. I picked her up and grabbed my backpack letting Ryan take my suitcase because I am such a nice sister.

We knocked on the door and a boy that looked a bit older than my brother walked out.

"You must be the Caton's!" He said and shook my dad and brothers hands. "Come on in!"

We walked in and the house was even more beautiful on the inside. there was a grand staircase on the left and on the right was the kitchen and living room.

"My name is Troye. I am Shauns son."

"I am Dylan and this is my wife Sage and the kids Ryan, Marina and Kate! it's nice to meet you." Troye said hi to us and went to get his dad.

He came back out and we all said hello.

"Troye, where is Tyde?"

"In his room I think dad." at that moment I realized who he was...

"Holy crap your Troye Sivan" I stared at him for a while and he just stood there smirking.

"Haha. Your dad said you were a fan of mine. I was waiting for that moment."

On the inside I was completely screaming and fangirling but on the outside I just stood there awkwardly.

"I'm going to get Tyde" Troye said and went up the stairs. Shaun showed us our rooms and I was sharing one with Marina. Which I was totally fine with and Ryan was by himself.After I unpacked a bit and helped Marina, she took a nap and I decided to walk around the house a bit.

As I was walking down a hallway I saw the one and only Tyde Levi.

I was completely freaking out on the inside. When I passed him he gently grabbed my wrist and sparks were flying.

"Are you Katerina?" His accent is so amazing.

"Yup. And you must be Tyde." I said.

"Bingo" He smiled and I almost passed out when I saw his dimples. I must have been staring because he asked...

"Are you ok Katerina?" ooooooppppss.

"Ya I'm good. Oh and you can call me Kate." He smiled again. I swear those dimples will be the death of me.

"Ok Kate!" I realized that he was still holding my wrist and I guess he noticed too because he pulled his hand away and blushed. I looked down at the floor and waited for the awkwardness to pass.

"Kate do you want me to show you around our house?"

"Ya sure. That would be awesome." 

He showed me the kitchen, the game room, the ping pong room and everything else that would be in a normal house.

We walked back up the stairs and he showed me his room and Troyes room. I heard crying from my room and I remembered that Marina was taking a nap. She must have woken and freaked out, not recognizing the surroundings.

"Oh crap. I'll be right back Tyde." I said then ran to my room and picked up Marina. she can walk around and do stuff by herself but she is the littlest of the family so we baby her.

"Hey Tyde. This is my little sister Marina." I said as I walked back into the hall. His eyes instantly lit up as he saw me carrying the small child on my hip.

"She is adorable! How old is she?" He asked while smileing down at Marina, who giggled and looked the other way.

"I'm 5 years old!" she said in her cute voice.

"May I hold her?" Tyde asked still not taking his eyes off of her.

"Of course." I handed Marina to him carefully. And it was so cute how he was holding her. I quickly ran to my room and grabbed my phone to take a pic of this cute moment.

"Awwwwwww...... this is going on Instagram" I posted it and then Tyde took out his phone and followed me on Instagram.

"Kate what's your number?" He handed me his phone and I put in my number and my name as Kate💛.

"Ok thanks. I'll text you so you have my number."

"Sounds good" I said smiling. I can't believe I have THE Tyde Levi's phone number on my phone.

"Kate I see that you have met Tyde." Troye said when he came out of his room.

"Yaaa. Troye do you know where Ryan is?" I haven't seen him in a while.

"Ummm I think he is in his room."

"Ok thanks. I am going to take Marina to him."

"Ryan Ryan Ryan Ryan" Marina chanted.
The boys smiled at her and I took her back from Tyde's arms.

I went to his room and knocked but entered before he have a response.

"Hey Ryan. Marina wanted to see you." He was on his mac laptop scrolling through Facebook.

"Ok thanks." he closed his mac and took Marina from me. "Marina do you wanna go explore the house?" he asked.

"Yesyesyesyesyes!" she said immediately. they got up and left the room saying hi to the boys in the hallway.

I walked back out, shutting the door behind me.

"Kate do you wanna come watch a movie with me and Tyde." He said attempting an American accent for some reason. I started laughing and nodded.

We went to Tyde's room because he has a tv in there apparently. I sat on the floor at the bottom of the bed while the boys sat on the massive bed.

"Come sit up here Kate. He don't bite..." Troye said.

"Hard." Tyde added with a wink and a smirk. I climbed on the bed and sat in between them.

It was 11 at night so I was kind of tired. They decided on 21 jump street. It is one of my favourite movies. Half way through the movie I started to get sleepy and I fell asleep on Tyde's shoulder.
