Ever been bullied, called names? Well I have, since junior year.
All I wanted was my last year to be in peace, but that was too much to ask. Teenagers in my school are rude.
Another year, and me getting bullied.
"Dove, you'll be late for first day of senior year." Mom yelled.
"I'm ready." I sighed.
"Good, now grab some breakfast and head to school." She said.
"You got it." I smiled.
After breakfast, I made my way to school.

I head to my locker and it was filled with notes about me being average size, yeah I didn't have the perfect body, I've always been bullied about it. I chose not to tell my parents cause I didn't want to a bother, plus they're always busy.
I just held my tears, I didn't want to cry, I was insecure about myself, I didn't have friends.
It was just me, myself and I.
I used to have a best friend, but when she became popular she changed a lot, she also said I was really fat and she couldn't be seen with me.
I saw my crush walked towards me, well to his locker but it was next to mine.
I've been crushing on him for about a year, but he will never noticed me, I mean there's a lot of pretty girls here.
"Staring is bad and creepy." He said breaking me from my trance.
"S- sorry."
"That's what the doctor said when you were born." He said while laughing. He closed his locker then left.
I just sighed, think I liked him better when he ignored me.
Senior year was supposed to be fun and exciting, mine was opposite and we just started, good luck me.

I arrived home and went straight to my room.
My parents were always busy, mom with her books and dad with his shooting.
It was fine, I was used to being alone.
I went to open my computer and started to write, yeah I enjoy writing stories, no one knows though, I like to keep that part private. Not that anyone cares.
I miss being little, life was so much better i wasn't bullied or anything. I was little Dove, that's what my aunts call me.
My siblings were busy with their families, my parents with their jobs. So it was just me and my owl, cool right?
I found her in my yard two months ago, she was hurt so I took care of her and I asked if I could keep her, so here we are.
Some people have cats, dogs or bunnies. I have an owl which I named cookie, don't judge i was eating a cookie when I found her, plus she matches the cookie colors.
"How about I read you what I wrote." I said while petting her.
I read her a chapter, yeah I was that person who talked to a bird. Eh.
"I take it you liked it."
I went to take a shower then a nap, I woke up around seven pm.
"We're home." Mom yelled.
I went outside to hug them.
"How was senior year?" Mom asked.
"It was-" I was cut by mom's phone. She answered it.
"As I was sayi-" again i was cut by my dad's phone. He answered it.
Forget it, i went out for a walk.
Work has come first for them, it's like they only payed attention to Matias, Sierra and Cristina. I mean growing up they were always there for them.
Sometimes i want to kill myself, will they notice, nope.
I came across a bridge, so many thoughts running in my mind.
"Suicide is not the solution." I turned around to see a guy in a hoodie, I couldn't see his face though.
"Sometimes it is." I sighed.
"Why's that?"
"Basically everyone in my family is busy with their lives, I'm bullied at school for my body and my only friend is an owl."
I have no idea why I told a stranger that, not like in will see him again.
"I think you look nice." He said while walking to the other side of the bridge.
"Doubt it, but thanks."
"Promise me you won't think about commiting suicide."
"Maybe."
"Life is too precious, Hope to see you tomorrow here." He said before leaving.
"Bye stranger, who's face I didn't see." I waved.
It was nice to talk to someone, even if it was just for a night.

I went back home to find my parents on the couch watching TV.
"Hey Dove, dinner is on the table."
"You already ate?"
"We ate on the way here." Dad said.
"Ah." I sighed.
"I'm not hungry." I said before going to my room.
Some days I wished I wouldn't have been born.
I cried myself to sleep.
