Next day I woke up, did my daily routine then decided to skip breakfast, mom and dad were already out.
I made my way to school, and once again my locker was filled with nasty notes, I grabbed them all and walked to the trash, except I ended up bumping into someone.
All the notes went flying, people laughed at me.
I looked up to see, Hawk Knight. The school's bad boy, at least that's what I've heard.
"I'm sorry, I'll stay out of your way." I said while rushing to the bathroom, that was embarrassing.
HAWK'S POV:
I picked up some of the notes and they were filled with nasty comments, I swear is people like this that make others commit suicide. This bothers me so much.
I'm against bullying, I know people think I'm this bad boy, to be honest, it's just an image so people will leave me alone.
I only have two friends and i was fine with that, better two real friends than a bunch of fakes.
After classes i went home, and went to check on my sister.
"Hey, how are you?"
"I'm good." She smiled.
This is my sister Demi. She's fifteen, and she used to be bullied a lot to the point where she considered suicide.
Our parents changed her to another school.
"Has anyone bullied you?"
"No, everyone is actually nice " she said smiling.
"Big brother." I looked down to see my baby sister who's four years old, meet Skye.
"Hey munchkin." I said picking her up.
These two are the most important girls in my life, and my mom.
"Has anyone bullied you?"
"Nope, I always say that my big brother will defend me, and they leave me alone." She said pinching my cheeks.
"Good, you two should never keep quiet about bullying, it's always good to talk about what's going on." I said as they both nodded then hugged me.

After school I decided to visit my sister.
I knocked on the door and Phoenix opened it.
"Hey Nix." I smiled.
"Hey, Dove. How are you?"
"I'm ok."
"Come on in and talk to me." He said, I walked in and followed him to the kitchen.
"Where's everyone?"
"Sierra went out with the kids, they wanted to visit your mom."
"Yeah, at least she will get attention." I sighed.
"What's going on?" He said while giving me a cup of coffee.
"Just me trying to get over senior year and go to college where no one knows me."
"Is something going on at school?"
"Just your typical people bullying me. I tried to tell my parents about my first day yesterday, but apparently work is more important than me." I said as a few tears escaped.
He got up and hugged me, "I'm sure they will come around." I just sobbed in his arms.
Phoenix became like a brother to me, growing up I would always come to him, everyone else was busy, But he was always there for me.
"No one loves me."
"Well I love you, you're like a little sister to me."
"Thank you." I said while wiping my tears.
"If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm one call away, or a visit away." He said making me chuckle.
"Thanks, and promise me you won't say anything to Sierra or anyone."
"I don't keep secrets from her."
"Please, I promise I will talk, but just not now. Please." I said with puppy eyes and a pout.
"Fine, you and your puppy eyes." He sighed.
"Thanks." I hugged him then said goodbye to him.

I went to the bridge again, I didn't feel like going home just yet.
"I see you came."
"Yeah, I just don't want to go home just yet." I said.
"Why? Do they hit you or anything?"
"No, but work comes first for them, so I'm stuck alone at home."
Why am I still telling him my stuff, and I still couldn't see his face.
"Is there a reason why you cover your face?"
"Yes."
"And what's that reason."
"I'm batman." He said in batman's voice, I couldn't help but laugh.
"Got you to laugh, which by the way is beautiful."
"Thanks, stranger in a hoodie." I said making him chuckle.
"Tell me something about you." I said.
"Well, my parents work with this famous writer, Aurora Moore."
"Ah, have you met her?" I asked.
"Yeah, she's nice, you look a lot like her."
"Maybe cause I'm her mini me." I chuckled.
"I knew you looked a little familiar."
We talked for a little, then we said goodbye, he said to meet here again tomorrow.

I went home with a smile, I know it's crazy but for once it felt nice to talk to someone and for them to actually listen, I mean I do talk to Phoenix, but it's nice to talk to someone else.
"What's with the smile?" Mom asked.
"I would tell you, but every time I try to talk to you, your phone rings." I said before going to my room.
"Dove." Mom just sighed.
"What's going on?" Dad asked.
"Dove, I think we haven't been paying enough attention to her."
"Yeah, work consume us, and it's hard to keep up with everyone." Dad said to her.
For once I wish it would be me first, but it was always Sierra, Matias and Cristina.
Maybe one day it will only be them three.
