Barbecue

Friday came, finally just one more day of school then weekend. Woohoo.

I got text from Hawk, he said he couldn't pick me up cause he had to take Demi to school.

Alright, time to get my car out.

I drove to school and went to my locker.

"Hey, Dove." I turned to see Troy.

And who's Troy you ask? remember my crush, well that's his name.

"What."

"Wanna go out?" He asked with a smirk.

"Nope, I'm already going out with someone, and he's amazing." I said closing my locker.

"And why are you asking me out now? If I recall you were rude to me."

"Maybe cause I realized you're actually hot, and you look better with a few pounds you lost."

"You're a pig." I said pushing him away from me. He slammed against the lockers.

"No one calls me names, and says no to me." He said as he started to choke me.

"Wrong move, asswipe " Jason said while punching him. He let go of me, I started to cough.

"Are you okay? Do I need to take you to the infirmary?" Clara asked.

"I- I'm fine." I said coughing.

"What's going on?" Hawk said while walking towards me. Clara told him what happened and he punched Troy.
Needless to say, the three of them got suspended for three days. They should've expelled Troy.

After school we all went to my house to hangout, well Clara was at the green house playing with the owls.

"Aunt Dove." I turned to see Isaac and Melody running towards me, and they both jumped on me making me fall.

"We missed you." Isaac and melody said while hugging me.

"I missed you both too." I said getting up with them, my friends just laughed.

"Isaac, Melody. Meet Hawk, Clara and Jason." I said as they all waved.

"Is he your boyfriend?" Melody asked me.

"Well, we're dating, right?" I asked Hawk.

"Yes we are." He smiled.

"Then ask her to be yours already." Melody said to him.

"When the time is right I will." He replied to her.

"Okay, I'm going to play with the owls." she said before leaving.

"Excuse my niece." I said to him.

"Well, when the time is right i will make you mine." He said pulling me closer to him.

Then he whispered, "in so many ways." I look up to see him with a smirk.

"You're too much, you know that." I buried my face on his neck cause I was a tomato.

"I know, but I enjoy making you red, you look cute." He said wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Listen mister, you hurt her I'll hurt you. Is that clear." Isaac said to Hawk.

"Loud and clear, sir." Hawk salute him, causing Isaac to laugh.

"Don't worry, your aunt is safe with me."

"Okay, cause she's the best." He smiled before joining Melody.

"They're something else." He said to me.

"True that."

"Love birds, let's go for a swim." Jason said to us.

We all got in the pool and had a great time.

Today was the day of the barbecue at aunt Jojo's place.

I got ready and Hawk was meeting me there. I drove with my parents.
Once there i was attacked by my nephew's, Niece's and cousins.

I swear they need to stop jumping on me.

A few minutes later Hawk arrived with Skye, she ran and jump in my arms.

"She wouldn't let me leave unless I took her with me."

"It's okay, I love seeing this little cutie." I said as she hugged me.

"Oh cupcakes." She said as I put her down and she ran to the table.

"Finally I can give you a kiss." He said pulling me closer to him then he kissed me.

"Alright, break it off ." Dad said pulling me away from Hawk.

"Dad!"

"What, no parent wants to see their daughter making out." He said while raising an eyebrow.

"Jordan don't be a twit." Mom yelled at him.

"Fine." He sighed, then he went over to mom.

"Gotta love parents." I said making him chuckle.

"We have arrived." Jason said walking in with Clara.

"Hi." We said to them.

"I'm stealing this little cutie." Aunt Bri said while pinching Skye's cheeks.

"I belong to mommy." She said innocently.

"Matt, your wife has baby fever, might want to fix that." Aunt Jojo said to him.

"That ship has sailed, our factory is closed." He said making everyone laugh.

"She's so precious." Aunt Bri pinched her cheeks one more time, she just giggled.

Uncle Matt and Uncle Jamie were cooking, then a piece of chicken flew and hit Phoenix.

"What's with people hitting me on the head with chicken." He said making us laugh.

"Our bad." They both yelled.

"And this is my crazy family, a huge one." I said to him.

"I like them, they're funny and very interesting." He said with a chuckle.

"That they are."

We enjoyed the barbecue, and had a great time with my family and friends, and there was Aunt Bri who didn't want to let go of Skye.

Eventually everyone left, mom and dad decided to stay late since it was Saturday, I went home cause I was tired.

We drop Skye at his house first, then he drove me to my place. Why we didn't go first to my house you ask? Well.

"I swear your lips are so sweet I want to kiss them all day." He said against my lips.

Yep, taking advantage that my parents were busy with my aunts and uncles, we came home to make out.

Just make out, I was so not ready for anything else, and we're not even official.

After twenty minutes, we took a break.

"Wanna watch a movie?" I asked.

"Yes, what can be better than movies with a beautiful, little Dove." He said smiling.

"Charming." I gave him a kiss before hitting play. I snuggled to him as he wrapped his arms around me.

This felt like a dream, who would've thought little Dove on a Saturday night with a hot guy. Not me that's for sure.
