chapter nineteen

"Sheesh, that was fast" Lucy told Happy. "She's so gentle sometimes."

"Aye. Eliza can be that way, sometimes." Happy said,

"In a way, I'm jealous." Lucy said, "I mean, she's so bipolar, I wish I could be gentle one minute, and mean the next."

"Liz is just weird, that's not something to be jealous of."

"Stop talking like I'm not right here, idiots." Liz glared at them.

"Sorry. . .I know I agreed to wait, but this is so boring." Lucy groaned, laying down.

"Aye."

"That is true. I am quite bored." Liz rubbed her chin, thinking of what to do.

"I know! Open! Gate of the Harp Constellation! Lyra!" Liz jumped at the sudden loudness of the blonde girl.

"Long time, no see, Lucy!" The spirit, Lyra, waved furiously at her.

"Hi, Lyra!" Lucy smiled at her, and gave her a hug.

"Sheesh! You hardly ever call me! I want to help lots more! You're such a meanie!"

"Meanie? I'm only allowed to call you, like, three days a month." Lucy sweat dropped.

"Huh? Really? Sorry about that!"

"Another weird spirit, great." Liz sighed, putting her chin into her palm.

"So, what should I sing for you today? Anything. I'll let you decide!" Lyra boomed at her wizard.

"I want a fish song!" Happy smiled, jumping up.

"Okay! Then I'll just sing whatever! Yay!" Lyra smiled, completely ignoring Happy.

"Lyra's a really great singer!" Lucy nodded at her spirit.

"So is Mira. She even sings fish songs for me." Happy crossed his arms, and Liz frowned.

"I'll sing you fish songs, Happy." Liz said,

"Yay!"

"No! Let Lyra play!" Lucy yelled, and Liz sighed, once again.

"Fine."

Lyra started to play her harp, and she did it beautifully.

"Some words are born, some words fade away. Some words live in inside you. When it seems you're about to come, to a stop, they transform into courage. Now, walk forth because you have grown stronger since then." Lyra sung, and Gray began to shake, the song reminding him of a memory of Ur. "Don't feel lost anymore. Have faith in those words. From then. . ." Liz cried, memories of her brother filling her head. Her hatred for the demon in front of her growing tremendously.

Gray started to cry, and Liz's head snapped towards him, causing her tears to stop.

"Huh? Gray?" She asked, as Lyra stopped her song.
