The rat that Lucy had attached herself to bursted into laughter. Since the rat was laughing, it could no longer fly. Causing both mages and the rat itself to fall into a bunch of trees.

Natsu and Liz sweat dropped.

"That's going to tick him off." Yuka sighed,

"I'm not ticked off!" Toby yelled, steaming coming out of his ears.

"Not you."

"Think she's okay?" Natsu asked, "hopefully it didn't crush her."

"She'd be dead if it did." Liz said, folding her arms.

"I'm gonna go check." Happy's wings appeared.

"Right! Thanks!" Natsu smiled at his cat, and off he flew.

"Meanwhile, we'll take care of business!" Liz turned to Yuka and Toby.

Natsu head-butted Toby out of the way, and Liz placed her fist on her palm.

"Fire Make: Inferno Bayonet!" Blazing bayonets were fired at Yuka, and Natsu roared fire at him.

"Such ferocious flames." He was unharmed, "are you the Fairy Tail Salamander and one-half of the Yuuki siblings I've heard so much about?" Toby jumped up, giving a thumbs up. "We once belonged to a reigned wizard guild, too. This won't be as easy as you think. Does the Lamia Scale wizard guild ring any bells? Ye the guild Iron Rock Jura belongs--" He was cut off by Natsu and Liz shooting their flames at him. "Don't you have the manners to listen until someone is done talking?"

"I don't care." Natsu shrugged, and Liz yawned. "We don't care what guild you're from or who you're partners with."

"You're going after our client and interfering with our work. You're an enemy of Fairy Tail, in other words. That's more than enough reason to fight." Liz said, stretching as she did.

"Tch, Toby stay out of this. I can take care of them on my own." Toby growled in agreement. "Wave!" He pointed his hand at them, glowing blue.

"I'll destroy that stupid thing!" Natsu yelled, but gasped.

"Out of the way!" Liz wrapped her arms around his torso so he didn't get hit.

"Oh? I'm impressed you recognized its properties." Natsu shot fire at him. "Wave!" He blocked the hit. "The pulses producer by my hand neutralize every manner of magic. In short, it's magic impenetrable by magic."

"So that's why it felt like my fire couldn't block his attack! Thanks for helping me there, Liz."

"I specialized in anti-wizard work when I was in Lamia Scale. I take it you understand why." Magic seals appeared in his hand. "Because all wizards are powerless before me!" He shot waves at them, who jumped up and dodged.

"I wouldn't be so sure!" Liz had purple fire in her right hand, and Natsu had his orange-yellow ones in his left.

"Wave!" The flames went out, as they punched his wave. "I already told you. My waves nullify magic."
