Meeting Lyon! Why Can't He Attack Elizabeth?

"Why?" Natsu and Liz glared.

"Why, you. . ." Gray trailed off, as he, Liz and Natsu ran after them to attack. "Stop your stupid ceremony or whatever this instant!"

Gray slammed his hands on the ground, and his ice shot up to attack. But the Cold Emperor, too quick, slammed his own hand on the ground, and their ices all mixed together.

His was more pointy and turquoise, whiles Gray looked more like real ice. Their iced broke into many shards.

"He uses ice, too?" Liz asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Lyon." Gray glared at him.

"Lyon?" Lucy turned her head to Gray.

"Damn you. Do you even realize what you are doing?" Gray balled his fists.

"It's been awhile, Gray." Everyone gasped at the fact that they knew each other. Except Liz.

"What is the meaning of this?" Gray asked, ignoring his comrades.

"To think that you were one of the wizards that the villagers called here. Did you come here knowingly? Or was it sheer coincidence? Not that it makes any difference."

"An acquaintance of yours, Cold Emperor Lyon?" Yuka asked, Lyon realizing they made no effort to destroy the village.

"Get going. I can handle this myself." He commanded of them.

"Yes, sir!" They all ran away to destroy the village, probably scared of what he'd do.

"Oh, no, you don't!" Natsu yelled, sprinting after them.

"No, Natsu, don't do it!" Gray yelled at him.

It was too late.

"Ice Make: Diamond Cage." Lyon used a hand to shoot a spell at Natsu, as a bunch of ice stuck to his body.

Liz widened her eyes, knowing this spell. It was exactly like Fire Make: Sphere Cage. This spell destroys the body of the person trapped inside, along with the ice itself.

"Natsu!" Lucy called to him.

"Why the hell would you use that spell?" Liz ran to Natsu, who was groaning from the coldness. "You sadistic ass!"

"Happy, get Lucy out of here." Gray yelled to said cat, who nodded.

"Aye!"

"Wait!" Lucy protested, but it did no good, as Happy flew away with her wrapped in his tail.

"Fire Make: Flaming Dagger!" Liz shot the spell at Lyon, who summoned a shield to protect himself.

"Damn, I can't move!" Natsu struggled, and Liz furrowed her eyebrows.

"So, you created an opening for the blonde and cat to escape? Smart and beautiful. You also use Make Magic?" Lyon smirked at Liz, who just glared at him. "No matter, I doubt those two can stop Sherry and the others."
