It's All In Your Head

I take my pills.

I choke them down.

I feel dizzy.

My head spins around.

These pills will make me fall right asleep.

It's better to dream then to stay awake and weep.

I lay down and sigh against powder white sheets.

As I start to drift away, I think back to the day:

"Where did I go wrong?" I said.

"You haven't, darling. It's all in your head."
