"HAZEL WAKE THE FUCK UP" Nahmir yelled from his room.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP" I yelled back as I got outta bed. I still haven't adjusted to the school schedule yet. "IMMA LEAVE YO ASS THEN" he responded. I ran into the bathroom and took a ten minute shower, brushed my teeth, and washed my face.

I dropped my towel as I rushed into my suitcase to look for something to wear. No I didn't unpack yet, I wasn't looking forward to staying here!

I threw on red pants and a yellow crop top and did my make up.

"I'M LEAVING YO ASS" Nahmir said, followed by footsteps going down the stairs.

"Shit" I mumbled as I grabbed my head phones and phone with my bag. I ran outside after grabbing a snack off the kitchen counter.

When I went outside, Nahmir was already in the car.

"That's mine I ain't say you could have it" he said. "I thought you were gonna leave me" I said as I walked up to the car.

As I reached for the handle, he stepped on the gas. I looked at him as he rolled down the windows. "Stop playing wit me" I said and tried to reach for it again. He didn't listen.

I put my head phones in and crossed my arms as I walked on the side of the road.

"Quit playin' girl, get in the car" he said while honking. I tried to ignore him, but he kept beeping and my volume couldn't go up any longer. I rolled my eyes and swung the car door open.

"Don't break my shit" he said. I sighed and laid my head back on the seat. He stood still in the car and stared at me. I looked at the time and yanked the head phones out of my ear. "We 'bout to be late, can you drive" I said rudely. He clenched his jaw and pressed on the gas.

We got there a couple minutes later and walked into Mr.Michel class together.
"You guys we're almost late" Mr.Michel said. "Sorry" I mumbled and took a seat next to Kailani.

"Girl what happened you look like you not in the mood" she whispered.
"I'm just not a morning person" I said and took out my notebook.

"Alright class, your assignment for the next two weeks is to work on the last project of the year" the teacher said, causing every one to suck their teeth and boo at him.

"Just know since it's the last, it has to be the best and this is 75 percent of your grade" he added. "I already partnered you up with people, after class you can see the list in the folder taped on the bulletin board in the hall".

"Can I use the bathroom?" Kailani asked. He stared before making a decision. "Be back in two minutes" he said and turned around to the board.

I was doodling in my notebook when Cordae tapped me and asked me to pass a note to Nahmir. It read "We out to that party saturday, mad bitches gon be there".

I rolled my eyes and passed it down to him.

"Bitchhhh" Kailani whispered to me as she sat besides me. "What happen" I said.
"I looked at the list for the projects, you partnered up with Nahmir" she said with a laugh.

I rolled my eyes. "Why me?" I said with my face scrunched up.

"Cause every girl he partner up with just want to hang out with him and they never really get shit done" she responded. "Oh" I said.
