"Thanks for staying with Nick, I won't be able to make it home 'til six and I know he's needy" CoCoe said to me.

"It's fine, really." I lied.

I only agreed because CoCoe was a really nice person and I didn't want to put more stress on her. "I'll pass by the school for work if you-"

"No, mom I'm fine." I cut her off as she joked.

"You know I'm just playing with you." she said.
"Go take a nap, Nick will be up in like two hours" CoCoe pitched in.

I nodded my head and headed back upstairs and into my room.

"Tía!"
"Tía!"
"Hazel?!" I heard Nahmirs voice boom from his room. I rubbed my eyes and sat up in bed.

"Hold on." I yelled with an attitude.

I heard him groan and I picked up my phone to check my notifications. He can wait.

"HAZEL" Nahmir yelled.

I didn't feel like yelling so early in the morning.
I removed my sheets off of me and walked out of my room, into his. "Fuck do you-"

"I'm lonely" he cut me off.

"That seems like a personal problem." I said.

"C'mon, stay with me?" He asked.

"Call your friends over or get on live and tell everyone what happened." I said while walking out. I heard him suck his teeth. "My gosh."

I jogged downstairs and pulled out the pan to make breakfast. After skimming through the fridge, I put out some eggs, cheese, bacon, and sausage. "Might as well" I mumbled.

I started boiling some water for the sausages and sat down for a few minutes on my phone.

*sniff sniff*

I shot my head at the figure on the staircase.
He smiled. "What is that? That smell like some fancy ass bacon egg and cheese." Nahmir said.

He still looked good with a bruised up face.

"It'll be done in a minute." I said.

I texted Roshima and Kailani and asked when they were coming. "Still talk to Al?" Nick asked.

"Still blaming me for your set up?" I responded. He rolled his eyes.

"Technically it was your fa-"

"Do not blame me for the shit you put yourself through. You made a mistake and trusted the wrong person. That's all, that's all that happened. I had nothing to do with it so stop contradicting or even involving me in that shit" I spat.

He took a bite of the bacon. "Okay." He said.

I sighed and continued to scroll through my social media apps, hoping I'll find something to keep me company.

"C'mere" Nick said and strolled over to me.
I didn't budge— just sat quietly on the stool.

"Hello?" He sang as he snapped his finger in my face.

I tried getting up to make my plate of food, when he blocked me. "Nick I'm hungr-"

"What did I say about calling me by my government?" He said. He pointed his finger in my face while I tried getting away from him. "Hard headed ass." He continued to talk.

"Get the fuck out my way" I said, not realizing how quiet it came out.

He grabbed me by my neck, causing a small moan to escape my mouth. He began to smirk.

"I'm serious." I said.

I tried my hardest not to give in to him.

"Gimme a kiss first." He said and leaned in.

I moved my face and pinched his stomach so he'd move back. "Ahhh" he winced in pain.

"Why are you so annoying?" I asked him as I got up for my food. "Why you don't listen?" He mocked. "Why you got pistol whipped?" I shot back. "Why you fucked my under age homie?" He spat. "Why you fucked around wit lulu?" I responded. He went quiet and shook his head.

"Was a booty call" he answered.
"And so was he" I said. "Well.. dick call"

He was about to answer when my phone went off, causing my ringtone to play.

I picked up the phone and pressed it to my ear.

"Hello?" I said to Kai on the other line.

"I'm outside, open the door." She said.

"Kk" I responded and hung up.

Nahmir has already been by the door at the time and let each of them in.
The usual came. "Hey guys" I said.

They all greeted me and had a recap of what happened to Nahmir...
