Destined (Seth Clearwater)

Chapter 3

*Seth's P.O.V.*

I woke up and looked around at my surroundings wondering where I was, Oh, that's right I'm at Scarlettes house. I thought to myself. I looked down at her beautiful face and my heart skipped a beat. I reached down and rubbed circles on her cheek with my thumb. Her eyes fluttered open and then opened wide. She fell out of her bed, "Scar, what happend? Are you okay?" I asked helping her up. She put her hand to her forehead. She looked up at me and gave me a small smile,"I'm totally fine, I just forgot you slept over!"

We had just finished eating when I decided to tell her about me imprinting on her, good thing she knew about all the legends and us being wolves. "Hey Scarlette, let's go to Sams and then I'll take you to get ice cream after, I have something important to tell you." I said. She looked at me, nervous. She sighed and said,"That sounds fine Seth." Giving me a small smile she brought me back to her room while I waited for her to get ready.

*Scarlette's P.O.V.*

Oh god, oh God, I'm freaking out here!

I was so nervous to tell everyone I'm a wolf as well!

I finished getting ready and walked back into my room where I saw Seth looking down, as soon as he saw me walk in he smiled at me,"Are you ready doll?" I smiled at the pet name,"Yeah I am." I said, sighing nervously. he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and told me I had nothing to worry about, they'd love me.

We pulled up to who I guess was Sams house. Before we got out of the car Seth grabbed my arm,"Emily, Sams fiancé has three scars on her face, don't stare it bothers Sam." I just nodded, I'd ask him how she got them later. We walked up into there small home, our hands brushed against each other, Seth grabbed it and gave it a small squeeze and smiled at me.

Seth and I walked in, it was pretty loud, the guys were in the kitchen or in the living room watching TV. "Hey guys, come to the kitchen we have something to tell you guys." Paul laughed,"What? Did you get her pregnant already?" he smirked at us and walked away. I felt a blush creep onto my face. We walked into the kitchen and I saw two girls and one man I didn't recognize. "Sam, Emily this is Scarlette." Seth said with a small smile. Emily ran up to hug me,"Aww, Scarlette it's so nice to meet you!" I smiled at her,"Thanks, you too." I looked at Sam and shook his hand, scared to think he'd be my leader in a few hours maybe. "So guys, Sam... I have something to tell you." I looked at everyone. "I... I phase. I phased when I was 14." Everyone just stared. Jacob stood up,"Are you kidding me why didn't you ever tell me?" He yelled, Seth stood infront of me. "Watch the way you talk to her Jake." Jacob walked out after that. All the other guys hugged me and congratulated me, welcoming me into the pack. "Scarlette let's see you in wolf form!" Embry yelled running outside. Seth gave me a small push and a reassuring smile. I ran outside with the rest of the guys and into the woods. I came back out in wolf form. My fur was a burgundy kind of color, my eyes were a very light brown. All the guys were in awe of my color. I walked toward Seth and he patted my head. "You are beautiful." The rest of the guys phased and we decided to run around in the woods.

After we ran around the woods for a bit we went back, Emily cooked a big dinner for us since I had just been inducted into the pack.

We all sat in a big circle and enjoyed each others company, lots of laughs and wonderful stories. I was glad I was here with my new family, almost made me forget my parents... I suddenly felt sad and decided to leave. Seth looked at me,"Whats wrong Scar?" I shook my head and said,"I need to go, thank you Emily." I ran out to my Jeep and sped back home crying.

When I got home I ran to my room and started bawling, about 20 minutes after I got home I heard a knock on the door. I got up and wiped my tears and went to answer it. I opened it and saw a worried Seth staring at me. He immediately wrapped his arms around me, I started crying again. He shoed me back to my room and sat on the bed with me. "What is Scarlette, what happend?" He asked, sounding worried. I sniffled and said,"Promise you won't say anything?" He nodded. "Well I'm living here because my dad is in the Marines, when he got home he told me I had to come live here because there are terrorists after my family, and I'm worried about my parents. i wont be able to see them for a few years." Seth squeezed my shoulders, "Everything will be okay, I promise you Scarlette." He said looking into my eyes. I nodded and wrapped my arms around his waist, feeling safe.
