"I don't think he had Save The Best For Last or Play With Your Food." Jake said while he sat down beside Nea.
Confused as he is, Nea only shrugged and fiddled with her new cap. She rocked a gothic look this time when the Entity decided to be nice and introduced some new cosmetics for everyone to use. Jake liked to stick with his green trail jacket. A simple look.
"Something's up." She huffed and fixed her cap back on then rested her arms on her legs. "Bing Bong Boi has been sparing me each match and don't get me started on Claudette and Billy."
Jake blinked and stared at her. Not quite sure what she meant he asked. "Why?"
"Every time there's that chainsaw freak around and we happen to have Claudette on the team he turns into your friendly neighbourhood Billy." She snickered and stood up, waving back at Jake before walking down the path into the dark mist.
"Well I'm going off to another game. Cya." And with that, she's gone.
Jake muttered to himself as he crossed his fingers and watched the cinders of the Entity in the campfire rise up into the sky. He sighed and looked down the trail, waiting for someone to return but everyone seemed to be in the middle of a match. Might as well queue up for another.
Perks: Lightweight, Saboteur, Premonition, Self-care
Before the match started, Jake brought in a Toolbox with him along with an offering. A Fresh Sweet William to hopefully earn extra points to spend on the blood web. He's had an eye on Alex's Toolbox for awhile which costs quite a bit.
The temperature dropped and blades of grass brushed against Jake's leg. The dark mist parted and the moon shone upon the blue map indicating the beginning of the match.
He walked around to get his bearings and it didn't take long for him to figure out which map it is. The mine became visible as he passed through a maze of walls, ignoring the first generator he passed. It's always good to leave it be just in case he happens to spawn the closest to the killer.
A glimpse of turquoise caught his attention around the back of the mine. He scanned around before jogging over to Feng when Premonition didn't cause a chorus of sharp breaths. Feng glanced over her shoulder to Jake and grinned wildly. Her new outfit contrasted to Nea's darker style. She wore a checkered blue shirt and a white jacket much like one of Claudette's outfits.
"Hey Jake! Seen the killer yet?" She asked with a bright smile.
He shook his head and helped her repair the generator. "Nah they might be at the other side. What about Ace and David? Seen them?"
"Nope, but there's a hex totem somewhere around here."
Jake nodded and continued to repair. No signs of Ruin came up so maybe it was something else?
The generator sparked to life and Feng crouched down, quickly escaping using one of Nea's perks. Urban Evasion. It was a great perk. Right on par with Sprint Burst but it never suited him. Bringing Lightweight allows you to run a lot so both perks are out of the question.
Jake stuck near the border of the map while keeping an eye on Feng. Two people working on a generator is the most efficient way to get things done. Prove Thyself isn't as great as Leader and it happens to be Dwight's perks though he never brings Leader... or really anything good.
Tension rose into the air and both survivor's skins prickled. Thanatophobia.
"Over here Jake." Feng stood up and beckoned him over behind a tower.
