A/N: Apologies for taking forever to send another chapter I've been procrastinating with school work and choosing to play games rather than that so may not be a good idea to be playing DbD instead of doing work. Really hesitant on releasing this chapter but I'll be working on the next

All of the survivors have started to gather at the campfire as the whispers of the forests have spoken that a new comer would arrive. As usual, a new survivor would mean a new map and a new killer. Fun.

Laurie and Adam had just joined the group while they waited for David and Tapp to finish the match. The two died early while facing the Wraith and Laurie was complaining how Wraith did the 'pickup and drop' trick on the way to the hook.

"That was not on! I should've gotten that decisive on him! Then he camped me for the rest of the match!" She stomped her foot on ground and fumed on the spot.

Claudette sighed as she watched Laurie complain. Meg finally had enough of Laurie's ranting that she got up and started a heated argument with her for being caught in the first place. The two might as well start a cat fight.

"Damn. Those two are rougher than you Claud. Sure you got bad habits for flashin' dem killers but damn." Bill pointed out as he smoked on his one and only cigar. He thought it was magic as he never lost that piece. It's the same ol' one the whole time and he thought it had some special stuff added to it but he seemed the same. He did miss his buddies though. Francis, Zoey and whoever that next guy is. Bill couldn't remember.

Claudette laughed quietly. She loved bringing those flashlights along and some bright clothing. As soon as she learns that decisive off Laurie the killers were not going to have much fun. But what's up with the hillbilly lately? She wondered.

Everyone else was there except for David and Tapp... but where was Dwight and Jake?

"Ace." Bill sat up straight, his back no longer against the log and the flickering flames of the bonfire lit his old but still sharp face. "Did ya get on with Dwight or Jake? Haven't seen those two. Went with Feng and Nea over there and also Quinton." He said.

Ace was sitting at the edge of another log seat. No one beside him. He was fiddling with a scratched coin in his hands. He got it from the hag.

"Ace." Bill called again.

"Huh? Oh.. oh. Yeah... what you say Bill?"

The old man grumbled and shook his head, resting his arms on his legs. "You kids never listen to your elders." He jokes blandly. Ace frowned a bit and shook his head. He hadn't seen wither one in the previous matches he had.

"Guess we'd have to start without em'." The old man said and blew some smoke.

A few minutes later, David and Tapp arrived at the campfire. The buff male was shouldering the detective and there was a big grin on his clean shaven face. A scar ran down from the middle of his left eye. "We made it!" He beamed, thumping his bandaged fist against his bare chest.

Claudette perked up from her seat and looked at Tapp who appeared to have passed out. She frowned. "Did he crawl to the hatch?"

David dumped the poor detective on the floor who made a quiet grunt. "Door, same thing."

As soon as Tapp was dumped on the floor, Claudette got up and jogged over to check on the guy. Her altruistic characteristics were still there despite her being one of the most 'aggressive' survivors other than... the rest of the girls. Suppose Kate and Feng were the least aggressive out of all of the women. Speaking of Kate, she's sitting in the woods away from the fire from her terrible singing skills. Tapp insisted.

"David that was mean." Claudette said with furrowed brows as he looked up at the burly male.

David only shrugged and went to take his seat on the log beside Bill. "Right. Where's the nerd and Jake?"

"You mean locker boy?" Nea corrected him sarcastically.

"If Jake is not here... and Dwight is not here... They might be making out?" Feng theorised, waving her hand as everyone was already here.

Bill slapped his knee and started laughing. "A guy like 'im? Dwight can't even get a woman! S'pose Jake can but you suggest the man's into guys?"

Claudette thought about that and she remembered the time when Jake told her about Michael. There was certainly something up with the killers but... only sometimes. There was that possibility that somehow the two survivors got kidnapped. Ah who could she blame? The fog sometimes got people stuck so they probably were just stuck somewhere in the void.

"I'm sure they'll be back soon guys." She said and dragged Tapp over by the log where Ace is sitting. The guy slumped a bit to the side but he was somewhat sitting up. He'll wake before the new survivor comes in. Hopefully.
