"Jesus is that the fastest you can go?" I sighed annoyed as I threw my shirts from the dresser into old suitcases.

"Ha, that's what he said." Sana snickered taking the time to fold up socks and pants casually in another bag laughing like a child.

"My God you do realise we're fleeing from a criminal drug leader of half our state right now? He's not just some knock-off Ken doll like you think. I'm serious. JJ was short of selling once and Aydin blew up his motorcycle. We are trying to completely ditch this guy and you're packing as if we're going on a sunny vacation to Florida." I said running around the kitchen in a full-on panic attack throwing fruit snacks and pudding cups in Sana's direction as I buried my face into my hands and felt my cheeks go numb from terror.

"Hey, hey you're getting pudding everywhere!" She exclaimed disgustedly as I noticed I had thrown them so hard they exploded from the impact of the hardwood floor.

My breathing became faster as my chest felt like it was on fire. I backed up against the wall and struggled to stand as my worry grew. I saw the light in a fuzzy colour and before I could hit the floor Sana picked me up by under my arms in a hug pulling me up to face her.

"We are going to be okay understand? Yes, he's scary but it's going to get better because I'm here to help you. You don't have to do this alone anymore okay?" She asked swishing the matted hair away from my face and pressed her cold hands against my cheeks before pulling me into a hug. I didn't remember the last time I felt peace like this, or even the last time someone hugged me without putting money into my pocket as I slipped weed into theirs.

"Okay..." I replied weakly hugging her back as I wrapped my arms around her small frame smelling roses from her hair as I breathed. I didn't want to let go, because after now I wasn't sure how terrible our lives were going to be to survive.

I felt her let go and I felt my mood deflate as she did. Her always cheerful smile seemed to deflate as I think she was starting to understand by my panic attack how bad this could turn out.

"Let's get going okay?" I asked nicely giving a smile.

"Woah, I don't think I've seen you smile with your teeth. You look... almost friendly." She remarked giggling as her cheeks turned red.

"Oh wow guess it was enough to make you blush huh?" I replied grinning wider.

She didn't reply but looked away from me shyly and picked up three bags along with several cups of pudding and fruit snack pouches. "L-let's go." She stumbled as she spoke not meeting my gaze.

I snickered and grabbed the other four bags along with the key. As we stepped out into the hallway I put the key into the lock but before I could lock it I heard a familiar popping sound. The sound Reggy always made since he was trying to get off tobacco by chewing lots of gum. And when there was Reggy, Aydin was always beside him.

As I turned to face both of them I grabbed Sana's hand as casually as I could. She didn't flinch but knew what I was doing once again as an attempt to save our asses.

"Aydin! Long month no see. How's the stock going? Recruit any newbies? Trey stopped buying from us last week meaning there's a big hole in my pocket since he used to buy twenty-five percent of my share." I replied using my other hand to shake his.

"Stock is pretty good. Skip is impressed with our growth from the last quarter but could be better. No recruits sorry man, but I'll be sure to find new ones this week. Where you and the cutie going off to? If you're looking for a good adventure New York is a good place to go, mostly Albany around this time of year has a lot of attractions." Aydin replied looking Sana in the eye. The squeeze from her hand indicated she was scared like I was.
