Keith's POV
Beep Beep. Beep Beep. Beep Beep. Beep Beep. Beep Be-
*Thump*
Oh shit is my phone okay? I should probably stop throwing it across the ro-
Beep Be-
Oh for fucks' sake.
I groan, deciding I should probably get up. I sit up, and rub at my eyes. I walk to the light switch and flip it up, groaning once again because of the brightness. I look around for my phone, but stop when I hear a growl. I look towards the source and see my dog, Kosmo, growling at something.
"Kosmo. Get up buddy." I go over and pet him, and that seems to get him to stand.
Beep Be-
There it is. Kosmo must have laid on it, probably not liking the annoying beeps either. "Good job buddy." I say petting him once again, also turning off the alarm.
I get ready, going in my usual clothes, jeans, t-shirt, and my jacket. After that I head downstairs and see Shiro making coffee. He looks like a mess. His hair was all over the place, and he was wearing a robe. He sees me and rolls his eyes. "How do you do that?"
"Do what?" I ask, grabbing a bowl from the cupboard, and him a mug.
I hand the mug to him and get out the box of cereal. "Thanks. And I mean just get up and, boom, you're already energized and ready." He pours himself a cup of coffee, and sips the cup slowly.
I chuckle pouring some cereal in the bowl and putting it back before getting out the milk and pouring that too. (Because the cereal comes first. Fite me) "So... Adam?" I ask, curious.
He has a slight blush on his face. "What about him?"
"When's he moving in?"
He sighs, taking another sip of coffee before setting it down on the counter and turning to look at me. "You know why he hasn't moved in yet."
I roll my eyes. "And I also know that's absolute bullshit. You're just to scared to ask him to move in."
He gasps dramatically, clutching his chest. "I have no idea what you're talking about." He says, acting clueless. "And watch your language!" He says with a stern look.
I sigh, taking my last bit of cereal before dumping out the rest of the milk into the sink and putting the bowl in the dishwasher. I walk over to him and put my hand on his shoulder, giving him a sympathetic look, "I know it may be scary, but just think about it. It's Adam. And you have known him for a long time," I pause, hoping my words go through his head clearly, "do you really think he'd say no?"
He seems to be lost in thought, staring at the ground. I just lightly shake my head and put my bag over my shoulder. "Bye!" I shout, putting on my boots and walking out.
~Time Skip~
I shove all of my stuff in my locker, not caring if any of it got ruined. I just want to leave this hell. I just got out of 3rd period and I already want to leave. I walk to the bathroom, hoping no one else is in there, not wanting to have an awkward confrontation, or get into a fight. As soon as I get to the door, I hear a sound. I can't tell what it is, but it sounds strange, almost like grunts of pain. I walk in, somewhat hesitantly.
Lance POV
He is kicking me in the ribs today. He actually kicked me in the face a few times. I accidentally let out a few grunts of pain. I open my eye slightly, because he stopped for a second. I see his foot in front of my face getting ready to kick. I scrunch my face up, getting ready for the damage, but it never comes. I hear a few grunts of pain, but they're not from me. I open my eyes, and see the boy who had been kicking me on the floor, clutching his stomach in pain.
"Are you okay?" A rough voice asks. I'm still staring at the boy on the ground, though.
I get up, attempting to stand on my shaky legs. I almost make it, but I end up falling. Instead of hitting the ground, though, I feel strong arms wrap around me. I could feel hands on my bare back, probably my shirt had slid up. I look up and see a boy, around my age, looking at me in concern. Suddenly, our eyes meet, and something amazing happens. His grey eyes slowly turn a shade of purple, making my eyes widen. As if I'm not in control of my body, my hand, very softly touches the side of his face. As if in a trance, I stare into his eyes, and whisper softly, "Beautiful."
That seems to get him out of the same trance I was in, and pushes me away, eyes still wide, and runs out of the bathroom.
I feel a tear slide down my face, not realizing until then I was crying. I look in the mirror, making me gasp. My eyes were no longer their original grey color, they were now an ocean blue. I lift up my shirt as well, turning around, and seeing two red blotches on my skin on the small of my back. No, not the scary looking red, that makes you think you have cancer, a red that was exactly like the color you see on paper. Then it hit me.
I had just met my soulmate.
