"Anyone can be a little bit mad sometimes."

Samantha

My weight shifted from side to side on both feet as I felt the lift rise effortlessly up to the highest floor. The blood circulating from the bottom of my feet elevated along with the compartment the more we ascended to the top. Almost like I was flying, soaring up to the sky instead of standing still.

I shortly reached the floor that solely belonged to Sascha Curtis, and the feeling of taking flight had vanished from my body.

The two golden sliding doors separated for me to pass through and I strutted inside towards the familiar living space. My short heels tapped on the marble white tiles of his penthouse that was probably equivalent to the size of a stadium.

I wrapped my arms around myself from the sudden chilling temperature, despite of a thick coat covering my arms and shoulders, as I continued to take little steps into his home. The atmosphere remained still as if there was no other person but myself. Was I maybe too early? I double checked on the time and found out that I was well over two minutes late. For someone who wanted me to be here by the dot, he sure couldn't spare another two minutes of his time.

He is Sascha Curtis, and he has an entire building to hold. I wouldn't blame him for not having too much of his time wasted. With that given reason in my head, I turned around and retraced back to the elevator.

"Samantha, I didn't expect you to be early."

I stopped myself before pressing the down button next to the double doors and twisted myself around to see Sascha Curtis in his...towel only?

My breath was caught from the back of my throat as I stood there frozen and in utter shock of what was being presented to me. Sascha's bare chest was dripping wet with water droplets running freely through his toned pecs and down to his tight and well packed abs. His muscular arms tensed for he was holding on firmly to his white towel that covered the rest of his God-like body. This man knew how to keep one too.

"Mr Curtis," I gulped as I tried to pry my eyes away from the distraction, "I'm sorry for coming over so early."

I may have accidentally emphasized 'early' too much as Sascha was tucking his bottom lip, in which that could mean a lot of things to him. He then shifted his weight on his left leg whilst keeping his grip in tact with the towel in a tight fist. He asked me, "Are you afraid to be punished for coming in early?"

I swallowed thick saliva once again as he said this and realized that I needed to say something. "I-uhm, not so much...are you?" I held on to myself tighter as I approached the man, and he was closing some distance as well.

"I like people who are early," he answered, his speaking voice gentle and deep, as if its richness melted in my ears. "Usually I don't let people see me like this, but you can be an exception."

"Me?" I squeaked, placing my hand on my chest, particularly around my collar bone area where a heart-shaped pendant sat waiting to be played with my fingers. "I didn't mean to intrude though." We were standing some centimeters away from each other now, but I wasn't planning to go any closer. I don't know if Sascha was thinking the same thing exactly.

"But I asked you over, there's a difference," he clarified as he took a step closer. I hauled him before he could go any further, "I need to find a bathroom."
