Babysitting Pt. 1

Hey guys! I am back with another update! I thought this idea was cute, I've been reading around for some inspiration, so if something seems similar, I am so sorry! I am not trying to take other's ideas!

2'nd person! (Weird! I'm not doing first person! Let me know which one you like better!)

You walked into your last class for the day. You were so happy it was the end of the day! It was Friday and you couldn't wait to have a break from school. This class was weird, it was a life skills class.

It was nice that your school had it so that when you were out of school you would have a sense of what to do in life!

We've learned about taxes, how to cook basic foods, and stuff like that.

You had some of your friends in this class but y/c/n was also in this class! For this hour, you had assigned seats. 

You just so happened to be next to y/c/n. The seats were in groups of two in rows. 

You sat down your stuff and pulled out the homework from the night before. You had finished it in class the day before so you just sat there waiting for class to start.

Y/c/n came in and set his stuff down next to you and smiled, "Hey y/n."

I smiled, "Hi." He looked at your desk and saw you had the homework out and said, "Oh! I forgot we had homework!" He pulled out his worksheet and started frantically working on it.

"You didn't finish it yesterday?" You asked. He shook his head, "No, I was a bit distracted."

You shrugged and saw the teacher walk in, "Alright, everyone! Today is a special day!"

Everyone's attention turned towards the teacher, "Today we will be partnering with our preschool! With your desk partner, you will be babysitting a preschooler! All parents of the preschoolers signed permission slips, so they will be with you for the night until about 8 pm!"

You and Y/c/n looked at each other in shock. He whispered, "I hope you're good with kids but kids don't seem to like me!"

You nodded and looked back to the teacher who was handing out the assignment directions. She handed you one and you read it. It said...

"Hello life skills class! I am the preschool teacher at P/s/n! We are teaming up with your class to help socialize the kids and also to help you older ones with dealing with children. Those who's parents signed a permission slip will be allowing you and your partner into their home! We have been working hard to pair the best kids with the correct older ones! Us teachers have been talking with your parents to be sure that our preschoolers are in good hands! Tonight, you and your partner will be visiting a preschooler's house and babysitting them from 4pm-8pm. If this permits a problem with scheduling, please alert your teacher now. Otherwise, you will be expected at the home by 4 pm. You will get more information when you are paired with the preschooler. Parents are allowed to leave you with their child if both you and the parent are comfortable with it. Never do something you are not comfortable with! Now, if you have any questions, please ask NOW!"

You looked at Y/c/n, he was staring back at you. You said, "Well, I guess we will be spending the night together!"

He smiled and nodded, "Yep! Hopefully we get a well-behaved child." You laughed and nodded in agreement.

"Ok, any questions?" No one had any so you all packed up your things and started to head to the preschool that was across the parking lot.

You walked into their gymnasium and sat down on the bleachers. The little kids were already sitting when your class all got there.

Your teacher and the preschool teacher stood in front of you. The preschool teacher spoke, "Hello students! I am the preschool teacher of p/s/n! I am very excited to be pairing you up today! So, as many of you know, you will be babysitting these cute little preschoolers! Right now we are going to pass out this mini booklet on babysitting to help you guys out! While you read through it, the little kids will be playing in the the gym to help get some energy out!"

They started handing out the booklets and all the little kids ran off the bleachers and started playing games. Y/c/n nudged you and said, "That is no fair, the little kids get to run around and have fun while we sit here and read?!" I laughed and shrugged.

We started to read and you noticed Y/c/n not reading. You looked up and saw him staring at you, "Are you ok?" You asked.

He nodded and started reading again. 

After about 20 minutes they started pairing everyone up. And finally they go to your group, "Y/n and Y/c/n! You will be babysitting little miss Mackenzie!" You both stood up and walked to the floor.

A little girl with long brown hair and bright blue eyes came wondering over to the both of you. You were in total awe! She was just so cute and adorable! She was wearing a pink dress with her hair in a half up half down with a matching pink bow in it. 

You smiled and bend down to her level, "Hi Mackenzie! How are you today?" She smiled and said, "I'm good, thank you for asking. You're really pretty!" 

You smiled, "Awe thank you Mackenzie! You are just so adorable!" She giggled and she whispered, "Who is he?"

She was referring to Y/c/n. You looked up to see him awkwardly standing there looking at you and Mackenzie.

"Oh, that is Y/c/n! He is really nice, I promise." She nodded and you stood back up.

Mackenzie stood in front on the both of you and whispered to Y/c/n, "Introduce yourself to her!" He shook his head, "No! She won't like me!" 

You nodded and said, "Yeah you're right, she won't like you unless you talk to her! Show her that you're nice and not some scary teenager."

He took a deep breath and bent down to her, "Hi Mackenzie, my name is Y/c/n." She looked at him and then looked at you with big eyes. You smiled and said, "It's alright! He's nice." 

She looked back at him and said a small hi. 

He stood back up and looked at you in awe, "Why doesn't she like me?" You shrugged, "I don't know! She might just be shy."

He sighed, "But she seems to like you!" You smiled, "I guess I just have the magic!"

You both laughed and your teacher said, "Ok! Since everyone is paired up, let's head to the buses where you will be dropped off at the little one's house. Please have a ride to pick you up at 8 pm from the house."

Mackenzie looked at you and said, "Will you please hold my hand so I don't get lost?" You smiled and nodded, "Of course! Anything for such a cute, sweet little girl!" You grabbed her hand and you started walking to the buses.

Your crush's POV!

Y/n is so good with kids! I can't get this little girl to even look at me without her having to look at Y/n to make sure it's ok!

I have to admit, Y/n looks so adorable bonding with Mackenzie. 

If only she liked me back, maybe we could get married and have kids one day..

She would be a great mother...
