Let's begin!

Kirsten's POV!

"Hi!" I said as I walked into my crush's house. You may think that it's weird that I'm just strolling into my crush's house.

But! I didn't tell you that I am friends with his cousin and sister. 

Now that we have that out of the way, we can continue!

"Hey girly!" His sister said. 

I smiled and walked into her room, neither of them knew I had a crush on Elijah, aka my crush. 

I sat down on her bed and as if it was on cue, someone knocked at the door. I looked to both of them, like who would be knocking!?

Then his cousin laughed, "Oh! I forgot I locked the front door after you came in. Kirsten, can you get it? You're the closest and I'm just to lazy to get up."

I laughed and unlocked the door.

Open the door which unveils Elijah. I smiled, and played it cool, "Hey Elijah."

He smiled, "Hey Kirsten, what are you doing here?" There was a slight silence, "I mean, not that I don't want you here, um, yeah.."

I laughed, "It's cool, I just came over because your sister bought a new slip and slide." He laughed, "A slip and slide?"

I nodded, "Yes, she said it was on clearance for $5.99, so she just had to get it."

We both laughed, "That sounds like her. Come on in!" I walked in and saw his sister and cousin on the couch unboxing the slip and slide.

"Hey guys!" I greeted. They smiled, "Hey Kirsten!"

I sat down and started looking at the box and it was a nice slip and slide.

"Ok, let's go outside and get started!" His sister said. Then his cousin replied, "Hey! Wait!"

We both looked at her, "I need my bathing suit!"

She ran upstairs and changed and Elijah came over.

"What do you want?" His sister said and I laughed.

"Hey! I'm going outside with you guys." 

"Why?"

"Duh, it's a slip and slide." I smiled, "He's not wrong."

"No duh Kirsten."

After a while we were finally all ready and we went outside to set everything up.

~After Setting Up~

"Alright, let's slideeeeeeee!!!!!" I yelled while sliding down the slip and slide.

Elijah laughed and said, "Better move before I go! I'm like a rocket on these." 

I scoffed, "Sure."

He shrugged and ran down the thing to push me off. But by the time he got to me he had fallen.

His feet pushed me to the ground and both of us laid there laughing so hard!

"Hey, rude!" I laughed.

"I was going to get you to move!"

We all laughed and took turns on the slip and slide with the rule of only being one person on the slip and slide at once.

~Later in the Day~

After we had been outside in the sun all day we decided to take a little break in the house. 

Elijah's sister and cousin had left to make a quick ice cream run.

Which of course left Elijah and I to be alone.

"Hey Kirsten?"

"Yes?"

"Remember the first time we met?" I nodded, "Those were the times."

He nodded, "I remember when we had that one science project together and you came over because we were so behind. Oh yeah! My sister was like are you guys dating and all that."

We both laughed, "It's crazy how we only met each other 2 years ago."

He nodded, "Yeah, but you don't meet people by accident. There's always a reason. A lesson or a blessing." 

I looked at him shocked, what?

"Don't worry I don't have a secret poetry gift. I'm just reading that picture on the wall."

I looked over and sure enough there was a little motivation poster thing hung on the wall.

"Ohhh." I laughed.

"But really though. I think I met you because we were meant to be together. Like more than friends." 

I looked at him dumbfounded. Am I dreaming? Did he actually just say that.

"Kirsten? You ok?" I nodded and snapped out of my trance.

"Yeah, just a little taken back I guess. Do you really think that?"

He nodded, "Yes and I hope you feel the same way."  

He leaned in and kissed me. YES KISSED ME.

He pulled back and I smiled, "I do feel the same way."

I hope you enjoyed! This was so cute and fun to write! I know I've taken a break from writing and all but I hope to get back into it. People who have requested, please be patient. 

As many of you know, school and work is all starting up so life gets pretty busy at this time of the year! Thank you guys so much for everything!
