Babysitting Pt. 3

Here is what happened in the previous chapter!

"After you got cleaned up, the three of you all played Barbies and played a bunch of board games!

While in the middle of monopoly, Mackenzie asked, "Are you two boyfriend and girlfriend?"

You blushed and Y/c/n smiled, he noticed your blush. "Yeah we are! Isn't that right Y/n?"

You looked and him and smiled, 'Yeah, we are...'"

~Present Time~

You looked down and blushed and Mackenzie squealed, "Oh my goodness! I knew it! You are so cute! But kind of gross. I think boys are icky!"

You laughed and said, "Well, they kind of are!" Y/c/n gasped, "How dare you Y/n?! I will inform the both of you that boys are fine human beings and are amazing."

"Sure..."

You all laughed and you all continued to play Barbies.

"Hey, I am going to go to the bathroom. Do you think you can handle Mackenzie all by yourself?" You asked.

He raised his eyebrows at you, "Yeah! Why couldn't I?"

You shrugged and went to the restroom.

While you were washing your hands, you heard a shriek and crying.

You rushed out of the bathroom to see Mackenzie on the floor crying and Y/c/n looking at her in shook.

"Oh my goodness! What happened?!" You rushed over to her and she pointed to her knee.

She continued to cry and you looked at Y/c/n hoping for answers.

"She tripped over a toy and I guess it hurt" He shrugged.

"Alright, C'mon. Let's get you feeling better."

You looked at Y/c/n and he picked her up and followed you down to the kitchen.

"Set her on the counter." He did but he stepped away. You ran and stood in front of her and looked at him like he was crazy, "You have to stay with her! You have to make sure she doesn't fall!"

He nodded and stood in front of her trying to calm her down.

You looked in the freezer and found an ice pack. They were so cute! They were little animals!

"Hey Kenzie, do you want a zebra or a monkey?" She smiled and said, "Monkey!"

"You got it!"

You walked to the bathroom and grabbed a wash cloth to wrap the ice pack in.

"Where does it hurt?" She pointed to a specific spot and you slowly put the ice pack on.

"How are you so good at this Y/n?" You smiled, "Common sense!"

He gasped and you laughed. After a couple of minutes you said, "Can I take a look?"

She nodded and Y/c/n started to clean up her face from all the tears.

You sighed a sigh of relief when you saw no bruising and the redness started to go down.

"How does it look Y/n? Are you going to have to cut off my leg?" You laughed at Mackenzie, "No silly! You'll live, there's not even a bruise! Just a little bit red, but very minimal!"

She smiled and gave you a hug, "Thank you Y/n! You are an amazing babysitter!"

You smiled and hugged her back, "Are you hungry?"

She nodded and I looked at the food list that her mom left for us.

"How about some Mac and cheese?" She smiled and made grabby hands for Y/c/n.

"What?" He smiled, "I want to get down. Can you help me?"

He nodded and helped her down carefully.

"Why don't you two play in the living room while I make this?"

They both ran into the living room and started playing. After a couple minutes, Kenzie excused herself to use the restroom.

Y/c/n came behind you while you were stirring the noodles and hugged you from behind.

You blushed he and put his head on your shoulder. "You know you're cute when you are acting like a mom."

You smiled and said, "Thanks. But you need to work on being a good father!" You both laughed and you asked, "Did you mean what you said earlier?"

He nodded and he spun you around, "Y/n, I have had a massive crush on you for a long time now. I knew about this project and I switched your partner to me so we could spend time together. I really like you, and I wanted to confess earlier but I was nervous that you wouldn't feel the same way. So, do you want to get ice cream after this? Like a date?"

He smiled nervously and you smiled, "Of course, it's a date. And by the way, I've like you for a while too."

He leaned it and gave you a sweet kiss, it felt like only 2 seconds before Kenzie yelled, "Ew!! Y/n! You're going to get boy cooties!"

You both laughed and you turned around to finish the Mac and cheese.

After you all ate, and you were cleaning up, Mackenzie's mom came through the door.

"Hello everyone!" You all smiled and welcomed her home. Mackenzie ran up to her mom and said, "Hi mommy! Guess what! I loved having them babysit me! Can they do it again!"

You smiled and Mary said, "Of course!" You smiled and went over all the events that happened that night and apologized multiple times for Mackenzie's minor injury.

She assured you that it was fine and said Kenzie was pretty clumsy!

"Alright, thanks for babysitting her! I will assure you that both of you will be receiving an A!"

You thanked her and you and Y/c/n left.

"Ready for ice cream?" You nodded and you made your way to the ice cream parlor.

You spend the night eating ice cream under stars and it was a scene out of a movie!

Everything was perfect.
