Tonight you were going to the back to school party and you were having mixed feelings about it.

You were excited to see everyone again but this party means school is starting. 

You were currently getting ready in your bathroom and you put on some shorts and a tank top. It was still hot and the party had a pool so you also threw on a bathing suit.

You planned to look like you had a "glo up" over the summer. After you were finished getting ready, and were satisfied with your appearance, you went to the door and headed off the the party.

~At the party~

You walked in and looked around. The party was being held at the school's richest cheerleader's house.

You laughed quietly to yourself as you looked around. This looked like a movie, the whole situation was like a scene out of a movie.

People dancing a little too close, red cups everywhere, lights dark and music playing loudly.

"Hey miss Y/n." You looked over to see Y/c/n working his way over to you. Well this is a great way to start the year...seeing your crush right away that is.

"Hi Y/c/n." He smiled, "How was your summer?"

You shrugged, "Ok, it was kind of eventful but not really." You took this summer to care for yourself and make it a great refresher.

He nodded, "Cool, mine was extremely boring." You laughed, "Why is that?" "Because I didn't get to see you..."

What.

"Um, what?" "Because I didn't get to do much." Of course, you heard him wrong... That first outcome would be too lucky..

"Oh, there is Y/c/f/n, I'll see you around." You nodded and looked as he walked off.

Of course...

You started to walk around looking for some familiar faces. After 10 minutes of looking and having no luck you decided to go outside. 

The girl has a pool so there was a bunch of people in it and around it. You sat down at a free seat and pulled out your fun.

You sent a text to your friends asking where they were. You laughed as people were getting thrown into the pool.

You felt bad but it was pretty funny! You looked to see who was the culprit of throwing people in the pool.

It was Y/c/n and his friends. You rolled your eyes, they always do stupid stuff like that. You weren't complaining though, he was wearing a bathing suit and it was a GREAT view.

You wore a bathing suit under your clothes just in case your friends wanted to go in the pool.

You finally got a text back from your friends. "We can see you! We're coming over rn"

You looked up and surely enough here come your friends in bathing suits. "Alright, I guess we're going in the pool you laughed." They shook their heads and one said, "Nah, it's still sunny, I want some color!" You laughed and took your shorts and tank top off.
