SHAY'S POV

"Never have I ever been heartbroken." I think back to Florida. I think back to watching my ex boyfriend make out with his former ex. Trying to relieve myself of the bad memories, I shake my head and begin to take off my other sock. I look to my right and see Sam throw in his shirt.

I stare at him with my mouth gaping open stupidly. Is he thinking about me? Did I break his heart?

"Shay! Shay? It's your turn." Katie nudges me on the arm and I momentarily forget what it was I was doing. 

"What?" I look at her and she stares back at me with her eyebrows raised. I look at everyone around the circle and shake my head quickly, "Uh, excuse me." I get to my feet and start to walk away. I need to clear my head.

I hear the circle booing and yelling, "Shay! Come back!" I ignore the pleads and search the house for Jack. I find him with a drink in his hand leaning against a wall and talking to JJ.

"It's gonna be sick, bro. I can't wait. It's like we're actually going to college for a week." JJ shakes his head in excitement and takes a sip of his drink.

"What?" I ask, stumbling over.

"Whoa, careful." Jack catches my arm and holds me up.

"What are you talking about, Jack?" I look over at JJ as Jack wraps his arm around my waist.

"College week. All the seniors get to spend a week at University of Nebraska at Omaha and like, live as college students. Just for experience."

Jack nods his head and adds, "Yeah, we stay in actual dorm rooms and party with real college students."

I frown and look at Jack. "You never told me about college week."

"I'm sorry, it completely slipped my mind. Jack just reminded me." Jack looks down at me and squeezes my waist gently.

"When is it?"

"We leave on Monday, two weeks from now." JJ replies.

I frown again and say, "That's so soon. I'm gonna miss you." I look up at Jack.

He looks back at me, "I know, baby. I wish you could come with me."

JJ clears his throat. I look over at him and giggle, "But I'm gonna miss you the most, Johnson." JJ winks at me and Jack laughs.

Just then, Katie comes running over in only her bra and skirt, dying of laughter. She runs into JJ and nearly falls over. Her cheeks are red from the alcohol and she laughs wildly as JJ holds her up. Katie looks at me and says in between gasps, "Nate just lost 'never have I ever' when someone said 'never have I ever put peanut butter on my dick and made my dog lick it up.' He's butt ass naked right now!" Katie slaps her knee and continues to laugh uncontrollably.

Jack, JJ and I instantly burst into laughter and we all run into the other room. We see a group of people taking pictures of the drunk and naked Nate.

My eyes survey the room for Sam as I continue to laugh wildly. I see him sitting on a chair in the corner of the room with a girl on his lap, his arms wrapped around her thighs.

Jack interlaces his fingers with mine and I hold his hand tightly. Jack is preoccupied taking a video of Nate as I continue to watch Sam and the girl.

She wraps her arms around his neck and leans dangerously close to his face. She whispers something in his ear and Sam smiles at her. She leans in and plants a wet kiss on his lips. I look away.

I'm glad Sam has moved on. I couldn't have been the one who broke his heart. That's ridiculous, Shay. Don't be so vain.

Nate stumbles into the bathroom and the crowd groans disappointedly.
