They say 'Love is a thing people die for' and this was what happened in this love story. People think love is the cure for pain but it's not and when you lose the one you love how do cure that?
It was nearing the end of the year with exams over and prom about to happen people couldn't have been happier. Well you would think that wouldn't You?
There was a girl who most people didn't like although she was one of the cutest girls anybody could have met. She had long silky black hair, glasses and glistening blue eyes. She was bullied throughout all her school life and she didn't know why but she always seemed happy. The bullies hated her being happy but they didn't know she was pretending., they didn't know what she was actually doing.
It was nearly prom and everybody had a date except from her, she was panicking and felt jealous everyone had someone to go with. One day a boy came up to her laughing and joking with his friends. He asked 'Will you go to prom with me?'. She replied 'Yes of course I will!!!' This was the happiest she had felt in a long long time and it was just brought right back down with what was said next. 'I'm sorry I've already got a date, I don't know who would want to go with you anyway' his friends laughed and they all walked off smugly
As they were walking off she saw him say something to them and he now started to run back to her. She didn't know what to do so she ran. The boy was shouting telling her to stop but she didn't. The boy soon caught up with her and tackled her to the ground. He said he was joking and wanted to go to prom with her. Her face lit up with glee again then dropped. 'You're not joking?!' She asked 'No, I've loved you for a long time now but I have been making a joke out of it' he replied. He kissed her on the cheek and they exchanged numbers.
By now prom was 2 days away and they had been on several successful dates and the boy had decided to take her home. When they got to her house they did what they usually did, hugged and kissed. 'What's that from?' The boy asked. The girl looked down and saw her sleeves had ended up rolling up showing the scars of where she had been cutting. 'What's what from?' She replied while rolling down her sleeves and pulling away from him rapidly. She locked the door and ran away.
Later that night the boy texted her 'What were those cuts on your arm?'
'What cuts?' She replied.
'I saw them, where are they from?'
'Nowhere' She texted.
The boy was now annoyed she was lying to him so he sent 'I can get you help if you need It, just tell me, I love you x'
'I love you more x' She replied and switched her phone off.The boy now tried to call her as he was getting really annoyed but it rang straight through to answer. 'What have I done' he thought and he was right to ...
That night the girl decided it was time for her time of gracing the earth to end. She grabbed her best friend and put it against her neck. In one big line it was over.
The next day in school the boy was waiting for her but she didn't turn up. He was now panicking thinking 'where is my date?' and wondering what she had done once she ran inside. He knew something was wrong so decided to do something about it. He ran to her house and what he saw and heard next was definitely not what he wanted to hear...
"I'm sorry you're not coming in you killed my daughter" the girls father said breaking down in front of him.
"What's happened?" the boy replied now hugging him to comfort him.
"Look what you've done"The boy was now in the house and he could see his sweetheart's throat cut open with dried up blood around it. He started to cry and went up next to her. "What have I done? What have I done? I'm a bad boyfriend. I've killed my only love" he cried. He then kissed her and held her hand until he saw the police coming up the drive.
"Arrest me" he whailed to the police
"Why?" They replied
"I killed her, it's my fault, I said something I shouldn't have"
"Stop blaming yourself it was no one's fault" they said in a concerned manner
"But...But...It was me...." he stuttered
They had gone in a flash and now all was left was the boy and her parents but not for long as the boy ran home in tears. When he got home he ran to his bed and put his head in his pillow. His pillow now got soaking wet off his tears and the water started stinging his face. He sat back up and realised he had stopped crying but just felt like hurting himself because he killed her. He remembered he had scissors in his draw so he quickly grabbed them and his them under his heavy, wet pillow. When he knew he wasn't going to get caught he put the scissors on his thighs and began to cut.
After a while his legs were covered in red crystals and there was a pool of blood on his bed and it had stained. He had to think fast and decided to change his bed sheets so he wouldn't get caught. He ran downstairs limping in pain leaving a path of blood in his track and put his bed sheets in the washing machine. Now following the track he made he limped back up stairs.
When he reached the top he saw all the blood he had left behind, the house looked like a red swimming pool, and he collapsed. He had lost far too much blood. His parents were at work and did not know what had happened until the got a call of his school he ran away. His parents were now on there way back from work and nothing could prepare them for what they were going to see.
His mum was first to see what had happened. She fainted at the sight of the blood and when his dad saw he picked her up and they waded through the blood to see the terror of what they would never forget. When they saw it they both broke down and called the police. They saw a body lying there with cuts all over it's thighs.
The body was covered in blood and when washed it revealed their son in a way they had never seen him before. Now both their hearts sunk as the both knelt down and kissed him on his head. He was now whizzed out of the house by the police and took away to a mortuary for examining of why he died.
