We were huddled on to the roller coaster train (the name of the things that will be riding us around on the tracks of the ride), Jack and I in front, Angel and Dean in the back. I can not express how happy I am right now. I can't wait to see the reaction on Jack's face when he gets off. I wonder how high pitch his scream is. Probably high. He seems like a person that would be scared of the most easiest things.
"Can we get off? Shouldn't we start on the small rides before the big ones. Get into the mood." Jack stutters, his face was literally an image of fear. Search up fear on Google and his face will probably come up. We were on the fastest ride, it was the third scariest, Angel said we should om this one first so we know the pressure of the air going against us. So we can be ready for all the other rides.
This one went on for ten seconds, but it was reay high. Like if a full on lorry was standing up, it would be at least seven or eight of them. I've been on this one a couple of times before, Jack probably hasn't ever been on any of the rides here. Jack was literally freaking out, especially when he didn't kniw where the seat belt was.
"I ain't holding your hand." I tell him, we probably had a minute before it went, people were still getting on, there weren't a lot of people either, so they were probably waiting for more to come a join the queue. I grab my Spider-man keyring from my pocket, I forgot it was in there but his seemed like the right time to get it out. "Here. Hold this and squeeze it, as if it was a hand. Tip 2, look down, all the time, I made that mustake when I firat when on here. Don't ever open your eyes when your at the top. Especially since your a nooby."
Jack takes it from me with his left hand, I was in the right seat, the furthest away from the exit, Jack insisted that when the ride was over, he wanted to be the first off and out of here. It was quite funny when I told him he wasn't because the tallest had to go on the outside. He's like a centimeter taller then me, he was pratically packing his bags and ready to go. But then I told him he would and got a slap on the arm in return, but I kept laught nonetheless.
"I don't get how this is going to help, but thanks." Jack states and nods his head a couple of times, obviously not having control over it. I don't think I've ever seen anyone as nervous and scared as Jack, he looks like a deer in head lights. He probably get whiplash because of this ride.
"Also, if you drop it. I will kill you and the ride will probably stop working. So hold on tight." I inform him with a serious look and I swear I hear him swallow but then he nods. The lights ahead were now going read. One light red, two lights red, three lights red, four lights red, fifth light green. Next second we were gone, Jack was doing as I tolf him while I just enjoyed the thrill of the ride.
The pressure against my clothing and skin was exhilarating, my mind was a blue and when we reached the top, I swear I left my seat for a moment. The only other problem was, Jack opened his eyes and saw the height of the ride. He screamed, he proper screamed and we were going down again. The air connecting with my face once again and my body being pressed against the chair. The things that kept me in place pushes against my skin and it felt like the wind grabbed on to one of my hands.
We were slowing down, but my heart wasn't, electricity pulsed through me. I felt like I wasn't me, I couldn't think, my mouth was open and I was breathing heavily but I have a smile on my face. The only thing not gone, was the thing grabbing on to my hand. I look at Jack - hoping he still has my Spider-man keyring - but he was still, looking in front of him and his hand. It was touching me. Me. I thought I told him clearly that he couldn't grab on to my hand, I gave him Spider-man for a reason.
I pull my hand away and that seemed to snap him out of his trance, the things keeping us in our place was lifted of us and Jack was out in a flash, yeah, I was right, he probably got a whiplash. I get off after him, but slower and more careful. I follow Jack to where are belongings are being kept and he grabs his bag as do I after him. Angel and Dean come towards us to get theirs as well.
"That was awesome." Angel states with a wide smile as she chains our arms together and we leave the exit of the ride. I nod in agreement, it gave me an amazing feeling, like I was free, the wind goif against me almost felt like I was flying. The height of it made me feel like I could do anything. And in those moments, I forgot all my problems, I forgot about my mum and Danny, I forgot about our new arrival, I forgot about Alex, I forgot about school and the grades that I am probably failing. I forgot about everything and just focused on myself.
In that moment, I was only thinking about me, I cared about me in that moment. I wanted to help me. I wanted to be free. And I got that for a moment. Nothing else surrounded me, it was the feeling that every teenager wanted at some point. And I got it. But only for a moment.
